And the hood-rat Queen of them all Keyshia Cole has had success, and I love Keyshia. I think K. Michelle’s voice great. Rappers get at a lot of ppl on their mixtapes, so K. Michelle has every right too.

She is very talented. She can sing! I think that she is no different from Mary, Monica, and Keyshia. I think that her appeal is aimed at who she is. She is from the hood and thats what she knows. Truth is many girls are gonna relate to her. She singing from pain, hurt, betrayal, but as she grows and matures, she will grow in her music. Its a start! I really love “Bury my Heart”. Im not from the ghetto, but I would support her because she has potential, and I see her evolving into a better woman.

Clearly, K Michelle is a talented artist whether we agree or not what she has been through in her personal life, there is no denying that pain exists. From this comes healing,she is playing the hand she was dealt and has the courage to broadcast it, the skill to get others to acknowledge her and is extremely bright enough to manage it all while making a living! She has recognized her purpose and shares her passion for the world to scrutinize.. how brilliant! I think the mixtape is great!!!! I didnt realize she was so versatile. Its a little all over the place but I think it shows her range as an artist. She can do a ballad and deliver it perfectly and then be ghetto as hell and rap. All the comments about her talking too much about the abuse..blah, blah…I think if I was in the same situation I would do the same thing. there are two types of women. The type that lay down and the type that fight. KMichelle is a fighter and I love that. I would buy her album.
