Singer/songwriter Ne-Yo is gearing up to release his fifth studio album, The R.E.D. Album. In preparation for the new LP, Ne-Yo drops his second single, “Let Me Love You (Until You Learn To Love Yourself).” The new album is slated to hit stores September 18th.

If the song gave me a good R&B beat behind it and he actually put some vocal range in this song it would be a really good song. The gay techno beat in every suppose to be R&B artist songs now a days is killing me. Usher, Ne-Yo, Chris Brown have not been giving me life as of lately (Yet I never liked Chris Brown). They need to stop calling themselves R&B artist if they are giving me this crap. I came here for ice tea hunny and you keep giving me soda.

chris ain’t a ”One type genre artist ” tho, his albums caan have RnB, Pop, Dubstep etc cuz he doesn’t have to limit his creativity like Trey Songz etc.
They are all puppets they don’t have any control over what they put out. They are told to make this type of music and they do it. I guess we are supposed to jump up and down fist pumping to music now. Will never happen. Try going to a club in Orlando and you will want to kill yourself. Every club plays techno music with the video showing. It’s a mess. This was a set up to me. They know in the music industry that black people are talented with singing and dancing so lets dumb down the music because we can’t keep up them but techno yeah we got that. We can just jump up and down and now we won’t be out shined.
Those songs should come with a Caution Techno Warning sort of like the NSFW tag

DAMN Ne-Yo this shit is garbage. Man If I hear one more pop/euro-trash/techno song imma loose it. For all those who hate all this over-saturated pop shit, please express your disdain on youtube. Its time we let these producers, record labels and artist know that the madness must STOP. Kill this euro-pop shit and bring back real music.
They’re trying to crossover to pop & techno, cause R&B doesn’t sell well. If an R&B artist like Tamia or Kelly Price sell 80k units, it’s considered successful.
There are very few artist today that give me life. Real singing, real production, real lyrics. It seems like ever since Nicki Manaj became popular, music has turned to shit. Everyone thinks they need a pop record to move units and score a hit. I thank God for artist like Mary J Blige, Alicia Keys, Fantasia who have always remained true to themselves and their sound. And now I add Frank Ocean to the list when I was just about to give up on hopes of a new artist delivering some substance. This right here Ne-Yo is for the birds

It just goes to show you,spreading yourself too thin in this industry is not a good thing… Two years ago, Ne-Yo WAS the Frank Ocean of R&B.. Look how things have changed.. In two years,there will be someone else! There is too much quantity and not enough quality now days..
If everyone is gonna assume that Ne-yo album is gonna be pop, that’s not gonna happen. He been doing this from time- Closer, Beautiful Monster, and this song just to put it on the radio, the rest of his songs on his cd is R&B, ya I’m not a fan of the song, but he still delivers. Did everyone forgot about “Lazy Love” that came out last month?? I guess everyone did- that was R&B. If you track Ne-yo discography, majority of his music is R&B only 3 songs are dance tracks.
@Jessica: The problem is that Ne-Yo is going the same route as Usher and giving us one great r&b single before kicking into overdrive to promote the pop material. On the last album, Ne-Yo gave us “Champagne Life”, but what he pushed more than anything was “Beautiful Monster” and “One in a Million”. I don’t have a problem hearing pop from Ne-Yo – I just want him to be creative and original with it. He’s much smarter than “Let Me Love You”.

I could only listen to 30 secs. That gay techno dance beats is painful on my ears. I like the lyrics but hopefully Neyo will read the responces & change to a R&B beat
