Rick Ross was interviewed at the Power 99 iHeartRadio Theater earlier this week in Pennsylvania. The rapper was in town promoting his upcoming album, GOD FORGIVES, I DON’T (in stores on July 31st). At first, I looked at the first picture and thought, “Ross lost a little weight”…but then I looked at the second picture
3 kings huh. 3 kings and rick Ross up there with a mike looking pretty. What contributions r these three kings making to stem the violence and the crimes from inner cities and inner cities from which they come out of? These artist are not depending on a selected group of the public but the public in general to buy and support their product (shall I say crap?). And they won’t get to add to their money vault when unemployment in the black communities is as high as 50%. Who would buy their “crap” when they r unemployed? Steal to buy their “crap” they sell with all the bragging and obscenities their music is laced with? Cater their music to others- White, Asians, Indians? Or download for free?
these guys pigggyback off of brands and people who have already established a name or reputation for themselves. rick ross, took the stage name “rick ross” after the drug trafficker, because of his notoriety and reputation. he wasnted to appeal to that thug, gangster segment of the population, even though he never lived that life style and was a security guard at a correctional facility. looks like the faux image worked. then he started a company called mayback music group, which is named after an expensive car. again, piggy backing off an expensive well known established brand. then it’s the bugatti boys named after another expensive car that has an upscale, elite brand and reputaion. why can’t they have original names and build their own brand, world renown and stop piggy backing off other established brands.
