Back in April of this year American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez wore a dress from the Lanvin Spring 2012 collection to the Planet Dailies And Mixology 101 Grand Opening in Los Angeles. The singer/judge/actress paired the python sheath dress with jewelry by Céline, and Christian Louboutin ‘Picks and Co’ lace embellished spiked toe heels ($1,495).
Fast forward to June, and former Spice Girl Mel B joins her fellow bandmates at the press launch of ‘Viva Forever’, a new musical based on the music of The Spice Girls, wearing the same Lanvin frock. Like J.Lo, Mel B paired her dress with spiked Louboutins, but she opted for a gold pair instead of black.
Even though the styling is similar, the subtle differences in each star’s look are enough to make an impact. So…who rock’d Lanvin better? J.Lo or Mel B?
That dress is so blah, but I like the way J. Lo spruced it up with her accessories.
If somebody wears something J.Lo has worn then almost 9 times out of 10 she wore it better. In this case she rocked it better. But Mel B. managed to make the perfect body. Of all the people that have made their bodies her’s came out the best!
I like Mel B’s style better. That dress is blah and looks like a dress you would wear to work a 9-5. J. Lo’s accessories do not go with that type of dress but Mel B’s does.
J-lo over-accessorized, then again she ALWAYS overdoes it. It’s not a gr8 dress though.
