Mateo’s really talented, but i just find his music a bit bland….also, his voice really doesnt stand out. I appreciate the fact that he’s not just singing “adult” content, but theres no excitement whatsoever.
I do appreciate his dedication though. He has the looks, talent, connections and drive, but I just dont see him cutting through and getting the recognition he deserves. He’s a handsome dude tho, and well educated so there might be something else for him.

I am not even sure why you commented at all Ciara, clearly you are not a talent scout or not even an advocate/fan of real music. Everything ain’t supposed to be TURNT UP all of the time. If that were the case so many of music legends would have been lost in the pretentious and VERY BLAND sauce that POPULAR MUSIC IS PROGRAMMING US TO RESPOND TO. First you say “theres no excitement whatsoever”..then you say “I dont see him cutting through and getting the recognition he deserves.” Everyone has a right to their own opinion, but please choose one. If you want to hear my two cents I have to say that he’s cutting edge, artistic and a next level type of artist. I am not familiar with any thing other than SUITE 823 and if this is any indication of where his career is headed, count me in as a new FAN!
anybody who loves and knows music would know that Mateo is a great musician with great potential, First time I listened to his songs, I was really captivated so you might want to check your ears or ask people around you what good music is cause chances are, you have no idea what that is.
He showed promise with his earlier work. He is now headed in the wrong direction.

Listen ya’ll, download the Free album, listen to it and tell me it ain’t genuine talent and artistry. I’m telling you, you Will Not be disappointed. There is something there for even the Hardest to please music lover. Raw emotion, vocals and slick production. Mateo keeps his music true to him and real enough to relate.
Trust me, Suite 823 is the place to sit back, relax and lounge.
