I absolutely LOVE Jhene Aiko! I’ve been a fan since her TUG era. Her sound is so original. Its a shame that she’s so underrated. Hopefully after the release of her album that’s no longer an issue.

she’s cool. i hope her album doesn’t flop, but i’m not too sure if this current market will give her a chance to sell. seems like artists like herself are continuously overlooked. i wish her the best on her album.

It looked like you were saying she has to do something drastic for fame. Now that I’ve really looked at the video, it is kind of creepy. And the lyrics are basically saying, “I’m not afraid to take the next step. I might as well. This is the only thing that I love. I want to be successful in the music industry. If it doesn’t work out, I’ll be right back where I am now.” And what’s with the title of the song? And doesn’t she hang herself at the end? My goodness, I’m turning into a conspiracy theorist. @Nails DID I thought the same thing… she sounds like Cassie. The production was great but her voice was not unique. Her voice was the background to the music. If she can really sing I cant tell from this song. I would only download (file share) this song. I couldnt buy it. She has the look so I hope she puts her voice first on future music.
