LOVE IT!!! Faith is such a talented artist.

I’m happy that Concreteloop actually mentioned her new reality show with Syleena Johnson, Monifah, Keke Wyatt and the Brownstown lead singer Nikkei “R&B Divas” I watched it last night and I really enjoyed it. A reality show of real substance. At least there is one blog talking about it.

She always sounds like she’s still singing to him. There’s nothing better than “grown-folk” music.

While I love Faith Evans, I think her voice is awesome; I didn’t care for the song. For me, not only is it about the “voice” it’s about the melody and the message. IF the melody was there, then maybe it would’ve left a lasting impression on me.

This is a perfect example of why they wanted this type of singing to die. This is real singing and we can’t be messed with when it comes to this. I can’t say that I miss hearing her voice because I still listen to all her albums and much of the music we had in the 90′s. I can’t with this crap they are putting out today. This is real talent and they’ve been shelving it for too long. It’s time to bring music back to where it once was.

    K. First off, Faye is my GIRL! I’m probably her biggest fan. Been following her since she was doing backgrounds on MJB’s old albums and Usher’s first album. etc. When she dropped her first album, until her very last one, I always copped her work. I’m always excited about my girl. This song however is not it. She doesn’t even sound like she’s that into it.

I like the context of the song but the vocals are off. Either Faith is not motivated or she is losing her voice. The vocals seemed strained in spots. I do give her credit for making a real R&B song.

Love the song but the vocals are strained and off. There isn’t enough conviction or emotion coming from Faith. Mary J would have taken this song to church on another planet and back

Beautiful, beautiful song. I don’t see how anyone can say they don’t hear the emotion in her voice – I can FEEL it! Cliched or not, this is R&B/Soul that can and will never die. ‘BIG’ ups, Faith!

We do need all of our R&B soul singer back on the block. The music from the late 60′s to the 90′s. That when music was sung from the heart. We even need our rapper back from the 70;s to the year of 2005. These singers, writers, producers never had to use PROFANITY to make you feel that you were loved. Which brings up the question. Do the people of today really know what LOVE is? Because it is not measured by the dollar. Save the kids with the music, so they don’t think that a DRINK, DOLLAR or TAP THAT TALE is their future.

OMG! I heard this song on the radio, while i was sleep…and woke up to listen. I too am a singer, and have to squash the h8t on this! F8th is bringing the emotion, the conviction and the vocals here. Everyone knows, that your voice ages with the rest of you…so on this song, she has more texture and more passion! Which is to be expected with maturity!! H8ters…either clean out your ears, sober up or just plain grow up. She is not 18 anymore, she sounds like a soulful, grown and sexy woman now! Can any of you do better? the comment on MJB’s…well her voice has matured also!!…she aint hitting them high notes like before 40…no H8t—Appreci8!! Love you Faith! Keep it up mama!
