I agree she is always doing that hand up in the air squeezing my stomach in way too much to make me look thin look in her album covers. It would be nice to see something creative; like a profile shot of her in a killer suit or singing into a microphone.. something different than her trying-too-hard looks. Her best album cover was Butterfly followed by Music Box. At this point in her career I wouldn’t even put my face on the cd.. the name alone should be able to stand on its own. As for the song.. it sounds like a mixtape track she just hopped on.

I agree with the post-Motolla downgrade, she was only good in the first TWO albums, thereafter she started to hook up with all these rap artists and only whispered or “squiked” in many songs, in fact her situation was the same as Whitney, who came back with that my love you love cd, with some awful songs, and I could only play her older songs not the new stuff. She tried to do a comeback to her old ballads with that “i look to you cd” but her voice was not at its best. Mariah should do the same. I hope she reads this. She needs to write quality ballads that showcase her voice similar to butterfly and Hero. she has enuff money so she doesnt need to impress teenagers with too much chessy hiphop fused music. She can actually gain new fans with original quality ballads that showcase her voice.

This single is so disappointing. I am a huge Mariah Carey fan and I was just shaking my head at this mess of a song. She doesn’t even have any real verses. All she’s doing is singing the hook and having rappers like Meek Mill and Rick Ross on the track didn’t help at all. Why oh why does she have the same dried up, recycled R&B beats with the same drum loops? She is so wack now. I still listen to her previous singles. She had so much soul, emotion, inspiration… she’s stuck on the same urban sound now. Why doesn’t she try experimenting with different genres or at least mixing in another genre of music in R&B. Her voice sounds nice over a flamingo guitar. What about a romantic or heartfelt love song with amazing strings and keys… something performance worthy and special???? Or a nice, upbeat dance track with big vocals.

Been a Mariah fan since 1997 so I KNOW she can do better than this. Shes been wack since she left Sony to be honest. There have been highlights here and there but for the most part its been shit. Ive always supported her because she can still put a good song here and there. Her catalogue from 1990-1998 was mostly FLAWLESS though. Those are the albums I love.
