TLC’s ‘Diggin On You’. Anyhow, I never liked Vivian Green. I hated that Love Rollercoaster song, and this hasn’t changed my mind.
Give the girl a chance. ‘Emotional Rollercoaster’ came out 10 years ago, she’s had much more material since then. Vivian is R&B’s hidden gem. Don’t try to throw shade at real talent.

I think the song is boring. The vocals don’t stand out at all (and Vivian Green has talent). Nothing about the song causes me to want to listen to it….very nondescript.

I hate the “real R&B coming back” comments. “real R&B” never went anywhere in the first place as there has always been artists making the music regardless of success. I also think that people need to have musical diversity. I grew up in my youth listening to straight R&B with som pop thrown in like CeCe Peniston – finally, Snap – I got the power, Sybil – don’t make me over. These were all dance songs that crossed over, I just think the difference is that “black” artists are crossing over more and this is due to record companies shutting down their urban music divisions so that artist take less risks and make music that is guaranteed to sell

Um Love Vivian… Always have. Favorite song: “What is Love” among others. But this song is weak. Pretty sound, but needs a little more vocal strength, maybe more smooth Brandy or Aaliyah riffs. No yelling or anything, but just needs a little more that shows her vocal capability. lol

Nah they made her dumb down her voice. I’m not a huge fan of hers but I do know that she has a decent voice. It seems that you have to sound like Cassie to get on these days. The song is cool but I would expect this from someone with no vocal skills at all. She’s better than this.

I love Vivan and I’m glad to see she is coming back. I think she could be a powerhouse if she had the right marketing team. Point being… this is her first single off of her new cd. This song is nice but it is not a knock your socks off song that is need to get the buyers attention. Artist want everyone to hear their music (aka buy their cds) so they need to understand the business side of the business as well. Its no reason we should hear some of the stuff we hear on the radio when there are artist like Vivian around. If you are reading this please sign with a major who believes in your music and is putting money into your marketing. I would love to hear more.
