US Serena Williams poses on the podium with her gold medal after defeating Russia’s Maria Sharapova in the women’s singles gold medal match of the London 2012 Olympic Games, at the All England Tennis Club in Wimbledon, southwest London, on Saturday (August 4).
With this win, Serena is now the most decorated tennis player in the world, with 14 singles championships to her name.
“It’s such an amazing feeling. I got it,” she said. “I can’t compare. I have it, I have them all so it’s great feeling.” She did a little crip walk to celebrate. Check out the video below..

Happy for her win but the cripwalk was a tad much.
Get over yourself! Sheesh. What in the world does one have to do for people to just be glad for someone. Lord!! The girl was happy; let her celebrate in the way that she sees fit. When you do something incredible, we’ll let you waltz or whatever you think is “not a tad much . . .”

Sooo soo happy that Serena won the Gold medal for the US and also for herself. What an accomplishment, especially after have all the both career threatening and most importantly life threatening health scares in the previous years. She’s climbed back up and show the world how tough she is and it’s inspiring.

Awesome I’m excited for the Williams sisters as always I didn’t watch the game but I assume that if the williams are competing then their most likely going to defeat and conquer. And there was nothing wrong with Serena’s little dance I’ve never danced in public but if I were in her position I would have done the crip walk to, lol. And white people know all about the crip walk I’m sure most of them in that audience could do it better than I can their just hating. But it doesn’t matter Gabbys non-exsistant hair issue and Serena’s five second tap dance isn’t going to out shine the enormous accomplishments that they’ve made in the last couple of days. Its going in the history books !
I would like to see Serena compete against a male player I think these female tennis players might be too soft for her, lol.

I’m glad more people on here focused more on her win than her dance, I mean the dance wasn’t even that long and besides if you could do what she did in the Olympics, I think you would be dancing or flipping to. I know when people win something that they have worked so hard to get, they celebrate in their own why and that is what she did. And for the people who talk more about her (5 second)dance then her GOLD, they are just mad they can’t do what she can do as well as they are mad she won.

Serena was def on her A-game and pumped UP! U can tell she is very happy and prepared for this Olympics and being there. She looked so unstoppable and totally destroyed Sharapova. I hope we get the same at the U.S. Open in Queens in a few weeks. The only down side is that the team uniforms r MADE IN CHINA and not MADE IN USA. Congrats SERENA.
