So proud of her. She is an inspiration to all young girls. Thank you Gabby for winning that gold to show when you put your mind to it and work hard it pays off.
JUST PROUD AND AT AHHHH!!!
Two great women (mind, body and soul)! In time Gabby will learn to cross those cute little legs when she wears her mini-skirts. lol
she was crossing her legs and also why does everything have to be sexualized, I am sure she was wearing underwear also she knows who she is at the end of the day. gosh some of you guys annoy me. I agree with the first sentence tho.
Akili, that was not a sexual comment. I am a Gabby fan,who happens to be black and also a mom. The child does need to cross her cute little legs – I’d say the same to my daughter. (lighten up)
The kid is awesome!
she does not need to cross anything, stop thinking sexxually, do you see anything, umm no
Cool!
She’s very talented, so I hope that she perfects her craft so that she can become an even better gymnast.
You sound gay… WTF she just won 2 gold medals..She has perfected her craft..DUH
Look at you, you damn dufus, you can’t even comprehend simple English damn wh*re.
Actually if she did master her craft, she wouldn’t of made those mistakes on her last 2 performances. She did an outstanding job considering the facts that she won 2 GOLD medals, is very young, and it being her first Olympic games. There’s still room for improvement. She’s could only get better. So I cosign with HELLRAZER.
Two strong black women, talented and well spoken. Gabby is lucky to be there to meet the first lady. I remember what her husband said about that balance beam
. Gabby nailed her performances that gave her those two gold medals.
Its so nice to see classy black females as opposed to ghetto, loud, nasty attitude all day, tacky, jealous black women that you see on the regular. Rare sightings, but nice to see.
It isn’t that rare for those of us who stay out of the hood and off of street corners. Often we just need to expand our social circles and our minds instead of being comfortable dealing with negative people because we dont have anything positive to offer of ourselves.
Caramelapple, you obviously don’t get out much.
Those chubby hands which r on the wallpaper of this site look pretty and well adorned. I don’t like the nail color though, not today
.
Doesn’t Gabby & Azealia Banks look like sisters?
Bout time you post it
All those accolades and she comes out dressed like a pr0stitute? Even Leno was checking her backside out when she walked past him smdh.
I get where you’re coming from but I’ll give her a little leeway since she is only 16 and is still learning the difference between trashy and classy. I cringe at the memories of some of the things I wore when I was 18 and I was shy and not looking for the negative attention I got as a result. You live and learn. Hopefully, she learns quickly since she has the world’s attention right now.
I was thinking the same thing about her attire I don’t think it was age appropriate.
@ VOO
If she was 36 instead of 16, that would not be appropriate. Her youth does make it worse though. Michelle Obama is dressed more lady-like than she is.
I’m thnking she probably didn’t have much to pick from. Meaning her family really didn’t have the money. Her jacket looked CHEAP but it can be overlooked by her stunning personality.
@ GYMBUDA
I’m not speaking about how much her outfit is worth. She’s dressed inappropriately, and like a pr0stitute. You may not understand that because that is the norm for females in this day and age. As far as I know, wardrobe is often provided to guests by the show. Whether or not she picked this outfit before or during the show, or whether it was picked for her, it is inappropriate. As far as her personality is concerned, she may have a nice personality. I don’t see how anyone can evaluate that off of a television interview. As a world class gymnast, she receives personality training. The smile that she gives after she answers each question is how she’s trained to smile after her routine, because it is part of her routine.
Two beautiful, hard working accomplished young ladies.
Amazing
I’m SO HAPPY FOR HER
This is very inspiring. Despite all the wrong in the world, there’s definitely a lot of good going on in this country.Thumbs up also to all the good people who helped make things like this happen in America
She has on a BCBG skirt and a top!!
What would yall have her to wear? I am sure your daughters won’t be setting an example!
STFU!
And right now BCBG has multiple lawsuits against them for racism against blacks. I wish she would have worn something different as well.
I love Gabby. And her story. Winning!
Gabby has such a sweet spirit.
There is nothing wrong with how gabby looks. They both look beautiful!!!!!!!:)
She is just so precious and sweet! Go Gabby, go all the way! You have my support!
Some of you need to get a ife! This is a wonderful young lady doing positive things unlike many of the teenagers we see portrayed in the media. I’m sure you all have made mistakes where your attire is concerned. She’s 16 for goodness sake! Are you that far gone that you don’t remember 16? Let’s stop talking about the negative and tearing her down and concentrate more on the positive and lifting her up. She has accomplished more in her 16 years of living than most of us will ever accomplish in our lifetimes! Let’s celebrate her success and celebrate her for being a great role model for other young aspiring athletes. She’s a class act! And for those of you who wanted her to cross her legs, you don’t cross your legs unless you are wearing a dress or skirt that falls below the knee. She did right to cross her legs at the ankle holding her knees together. Again, get a life people!!!
