I don’t like the headline “Janet Makes TMZ Retract ‘SLAP’ Story” I’m sure she made filed a claim because it probably never happened. A major website wouldn’t just retract a story unless they knew they were in the wrong.

Also Drake should not be producing an Aaliyah album. Missy or Tim and others who knew her personally should do something like that. Plus I’m not to sure that’s going to happen considering this was news months ago and Aaliyah’s brother stated on his twitter that there was no Aaliyah album in the works. Of course i would love another Aaliyah record, but We’ll see.

You do realize that Drake/Aaliyah pic is photoshopped? I’ve been a fan too long to be fooled. Someone pasted Drake’s face over Aaliyah’s brother Rashaad. That’s not even somethin’ to play with. Aaliyah’s memory is not some kind of object or thing to make into a punchline.

I think the whole “Aaliyah” thing is still being held onto cause after she died the music industry became saturated with screaming half naked, ghetto, attention-seeking women who are more “style than substance”. Mind you, these types of women always existed within the industry, but never so bodly. Does that mean Aaliyah was the greatest vocalist/Dancer? No…it’s just that looking back allows people to see what we’re now missing. She had a softness that never cancelled out that street edge…and we havent seen that in anyone since she passed
I agree you can hate on Aaliyah all you want but people still wouldn’t want another album or even listen to her material today if she didn’t set a standard that other artists have not been able to duplicate.

Drake producing Aaliyah’s album will never happen. Everytime people announce there will be an upcoming Aaliyah project, her brother, Rashad Haughton shoots it down. It isn’t official unless it is posted on Aaliyah’s website or announced by the Haughtons.

I’m sure Janet got involved with the TMZ story, and they quickly recanted. IDK about Drake producing an Aaliyah album in reality I would think that the people that helped her the most in her career–Timbaland, Missy, Ginuwine, Tank–would be more instrumental in something like that than anyone. But also, I’m just like she’s been gone for 11 years now is anyone really checking for new music from her? Seems too late after that crap of a compilation “I Miss You.”
Janet Jackson wasn’t attempting to berate that little girl Paris Jackson. She was trying to put shit into perspective. You are a Jackson. Do not twitter your business period. You do not see Rev. Run’s children running to twitter or Will Smith’s children etc. It wouldn’t shock me if she was a bit shady though. The Jackson’s are struggling with raising these white children knowing that none of them are his actual biological children. The estate might actually really be under the hands of the wrong. Why do people dislike Paris Jackson? She was clearly fighting for the return of her grandmother and Katherine confirmed that when she stated that she was basically kidnapped and her phones were taken away from her. What moron believes that the Jackson family (katherines kids) are a reliable source? Mike left them out of the will for a reason.
Exactly. His own damn family is the reason he is dead. Janet know damn well she did everything that girl said she did to her. All they want is the money. The only one’s not in on the grand scheme was Katherine and Latoya and Latoya only went against the family because they didn’t want her to get any money. They are all devils and are afraid that Paris will expose more of what we already know about them.
