Shout out to Shaquille O’Neal for his efforts to raise awareness to many different charities. The former NBA player attended various events this week supporting everything from the United Nations ‘Every Woman Every Child’ initiative to the Toddler Rally For Global Health’s Big Push. He also attended the 27th Annual Great Sports Legends Dinner to benefit the Buoniconti Fund and is pictured below with retired professional boxer Laila Ali and former WNBA player Lisa Leslie.

These are the things not reported very often and should be. People make blanket statements about celebs not giving back, but I have to say I regularly see this guy using his celebrity to give back. I really respect that. Go Shaq! And go lil lady that he scooped up like a sack of potatoes.
