I had a chance to preview the movie this week and it actually wasn’t that bad. There are breakout performances from a couple of the cast members (Rebel Wilson and Anna Kendrick) and Ester can definitely act but she was only given little speaking roles here and there. Overall, it’s a cute movie for high school and college aged students. And if you’re a fan of the FOX show, GLEE then you will definitely enjoy it.
As for Ester, she is currently finalizing her debut album. After writing chart topping songs for the likes of Rihanna (“Rude Boy, “What’s My Name”), Beyonce (“Countdown”, “Start Over”), Katy Perry (“Firework”) and a long list of more. I was just about to comment on her outfit. I actually like it. Casual for the event, a pop of color, the metallic on eyes and lips and thru the blazer. Chic to me. I like the fact that she’s wearing something that does complement her body but still jazzy.
Anyway, amazing talent here. Didn’t know she had all that behind her so I will keep an eye open for her new music.
