Lil Scrappy and his fiance Erica Dixon cover the latest issue of ‘Rolling Out’ Magazine. The rapper proposed to his on and of again girlfriend during the Love & Hip-Hop Reunion Show taping last month (it aired last night though).

The things that make this reality show stand out from “Basketball Wives” and some of the others is that the issues the women face with their men are relatable on some level – we’ve all been there, or we will be at some point in our lives. Yes, there are men that cheat women who let them (Stevie J/Mimi/Joseline), couples that struggle with communication and trying to be on the same page in a relationship (Erica and Scrappy), and women who struggle with the baggage of their past failed relationships and can’t seem to move forward (K. Michelle). And yes, it doesn’t matter what your grind is, there are always conflicts between work and family and trying to maintain that balance (Rasheeda/Kirk). At some stage in my life, I’ve been every single one of these women, and I feel like it is something I had to go through to grow up and grow into the woman I’ve become, so I’m just keeping them in prayer. The only one I can’t relate to is Karli Redd – she’s just messy, and she doesn’t fit. She’s needs to be on Basketball Wives, because her story line is just that – a story line. She’s just trying to sleep her way to the top, and that is something I’ve never done.

I totally agree. At first, this show seemed scripted, but as the stories started to develop, everything seemed believable. What made it trashy, in my opinion, is the way they cursed. I don’t respect women with nasty mouths like theirs. The men didn’t even curse as much as the women.
Oh, and why is Scrappy’s earring bigger than Erica’s ring? I’m just saying – he should have taken his earring and had a band added to the stone – I can see his earring a lot better than her diamond. I don’t know how this will turn out for the two of them, but I know for sure and for certain, love conquers all, and with the right tools, as long as they love each other, they can make their relationship/future marriage (???) work.

People that get all of those tattoos and excessive piercings are usually bugged out and are trying to compensate for their mental and spiritual weaknesses. They say things like “This tat is in memory of my grandmother. Every time I look at it I think of her.” lol. All that shows is that their grandmother is not important enough that the memories that she instilled in the person are not locked in their mind. They need a written note to remember her, like someone with alzheimers has to leave post-its around the house to remember their own name lol.

It was rumored that Scrappy and Erica’s “issues” were scripted rather the show knew about it or it was between the two of them is questionable but I’m hoping at the least that’s true and would explain Mama Dee.
BUT looking at both of their backgrounds with mamas counseling is a must to not carry that stuff into their futures and get a really understanding of what love is and how to have it for one another, for better or worse.

I never watched this show, BBW, or any of the other ones. I didn’t even no CL was caught up in the hype, I only thought MTO reported on them. Anyways, what difference will a marriage make, Shay’s still going to be second in line, watch.
The scene with Joseline’s and her parents was a bit to authentic. It thoroughly explained why Joseline is the way she is. The girl isn’t sincerely a whore she’s been broken by her own mother. Because, of that she views men as a mean to an end. She’s hustled her way on to the show and became a television caricature but she’s also the break out star of the show. She’s a beautiful woman I just wish she didn’t have those tacky tattoos.
I know I was like why didn’t they show that interview that told so much. I do feel that’s one thing that helped me not to judge Joseline so hard BUT there isn’t an excuse for how she chooses to live out her life now. The choice of right and wrong is our own, people that have come from tougher lives have a tougher way but choosing right is still available and possible for them.
People have come from much worse and you wouldn’t know it based on their character unless they told you. She still has the responsibility to get her life in order. Do go back to the strip club because your grown and there are options, not because of a possible music career just saying.
