First lady Michelle Obama speaks on stage during day one of the Democratic National Convention at Time Warner Cable Arena on Tuesday (September 4) in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Her husband of almost 20 years, President Barack Obama was pictured in awe of his wife, watching the speech on T.V. back home with his daughters, Malia and Sasha in the Treaty Room of the White House.

Yes! I cried when I saw a white women crying and holding up a picture of Michelle Obama. It made me believe again that we can and are learning to look beyond the physical and understand that we are all in this together. All races and both side democratic and republican. This speech was inspiring, motivating and reminded everyone of the true character of the President as a leader, husband, father and man; I truly felt her pride and passion and it brought tears to my eyes. Loved it!!
I can’t believe that anyone could actually sit through almost 29 minutes of this drivel smdh……I had to skip through it in 5 minutes intervals and every place I stopped at, she was still blathering about nonsense, with a bunch of simple black females in the audience making slave faces and tearing up like they were watching Lincoln sign off on the “Emancipation Proclamation”. It really does not matter who wins because at the end of the day, and like so many previous elections, nothing will change. (maybe get worst :/) Both candidates are just appealing to the desperation of the American people to garner votes. But I guarantee you that in a year or two or even three we will still be in the same position fighting the same battles. The only way to change this would be to scrap the ENTIRE government and start over with fresh new faces, new voices, new ideas. (This of course will never happen LOL dare to dream) The president is just one man, who frankly has very little power. (He can’t scratch his @$$ unless the senate n house agree that he may potentially have an itch that might need scratching in the near future so they will have to wait and see how bad it gets before they decide on which hand could possibly facilitate the scratch, and how long he might need for such an act. The whole time he’s sitting there with itchy @$$ like “WTF can I scratch my @$$ please it hurts”… not fun :/) LOL I digress, I say start rebuilding from the ground up (you know the other elected officials we all like to forget about unless there’s a sex/drug scandal of some sort) then maybe we might have a chance.

Just to clarify, the First Lady’s speech at these conventions is always about the character of her husband and his connection to the country. So whoever it was who commented on the fact that she did not directly address any issues needs to understand this.
Now all this showboating for the public by both parties is for a certain type of person who is likely to believe the hype and they will pick their sides accordingly.
Then there is the other demographic who “gets it” and who understands that voting is really just a matter of picking the lesser of two evils. I will admit that President Obama did not keep all is promises BUT what politician has. Really…. there are so many variables involved that it is virtually impossible for any politician to keep all their promises. But, I honestly believe that President Obama has done his best. And 20 years from now, I would bet my hard earned money that we will not hear about some crazy personal or political scandal because he is a good and honorable man.
