Kayne West, Kim Kardashian, Nelly and Ashanti attend the Angel Ball 2012 hosted by Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation at Cipriani Wall Street on October 22, 2012 in New York City. Other guests included Estelle, Angela Simmons, Solange Knowles, her mother Tina Knowles, Star Jones and more. There were also performances by Nelly, Smokey Robinson and Natalie Cole.
The Foundation was created in 1996 by Denise Rich (pictured below) in memory of her daughter Gabrielle Rich Aouad who passed away at the age of 27 after a long struggle with acute myelogenous leukemia (AML). The mission of Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation is to fund basic and clinical medical research in both conventional and integrative disciplines which focus on prevention, treatment and quality of life issues of leukemia, lymphoma and related cancers. The look on Nelly’s face might be related to the recent arrest for drugs and weapons…on the tour bus. Traveling with “horse” is pretty serious. Everyone for the most part looks nice. I must say Solange looks snatch, I mean that in the most humble way. She really looks cute. Tina looks as if she’s saying Matthew who? Even Wendel Williams looks nice. I wonder is it uncomfortable for Wendel to be in the same setting/room with Ms. Tina/Solange after Wendel shows her hate toward Beyonce/Jay-z often on her show? I will say this season she isn’t being as as*whole out like she has in the past maybe because she wants A listers to come on the show.
