Multiple sources are confirming that 32 year-old singer-rapper-actress Natina Reed (best known for being in the group Blaque) was killed Friday night (October 26) in a bizarre accident while crossing the street. Many of her industry friends have confirmed the sad news via twitter.com.
Blaque member Brandi Williams’ left a heartfelt message on twitter saying, “Last night the world was changed forever, life will never be the same….she was my sister.”
Natina was known as the rapper in Blaque, which gained fame and a platinum album after signing a production deal with the late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes. She also had starring roles in movies like Bring it On and tv series like, ‘VIP’ with Pamela Andersen. Natina is survived by her young son, who she had while in a relationship with rapper Kurupt (pictured above). She would have turned 33 tomorrow (October 28).

What a tragedy. I loved her in the movie, Bring It On. I’ll never forget her line, “You been touched by an Angel girl.” She reminded me a lot of Lefteye. So weird they died seemingly the same way. My condolences to the family during such a hard time.

I read on a different news site that it was not a hit and run. It stated that the driver stopped and was actually the one who called 911.
I heard on the News It wasn’t a hit and run, The driver stayed and try to help her.

Very sad and tragic. Her son will miss her a great deal. I really liked this group back in the day. They had great style and of course were a “mini” TLC. She was so much like Left Eye becuz Left Eye formed the band and groomed them. She did kinda have that Left Eye personality.
From what I have read about the accident, the police are trying to find out why she was in the road in such a dark and secluded area by herself. No businesses were open at that time of night according to police.
I’m stretching here but I wonder was she forced out of a car or got out due to some kind of argument with a boyfriend maybe? Disoriented for some reason? Was she walking or just standing there? The police will perform toxicology tests and keep investigating. The people who hit her/saw her must be so distraught. I would be a mess! Anyway, it will be interesting to find out why she was there.
