Im 34 and Love her….She is the only chick that has had consistant hits throughout her entire career. She may not have the best voice but she definitely has her own lane. Everybody busy copying Beyonce, and that got old real fast. Rihanna is the only artist who continues to put out dope music (Pop Music not just Music for the Hood). And she interesting, she not polished or perfect, she’s not a puppet. She is doing exactly what I would do if I was young with money…GO CRAZY, lol….I love the Girl!

It is not only Rihanna putting out hits but, she is not afraid to be who she is. She is flawed, but who isn’t. She isn’t doing anything that I didn’t do seven years ago. I dated who I wanted, slept with who I wanted, smoked weed, drank, partied hard and, I also had troubles. I was in an abusive relationship, I had run-ins with the law, lost custody of a child due to my lifestyle and I can go on. It is called growing up and being immature while doing so; she is just in the eye of the public.

People need to stop judging this girl. What got me through was prayer. I am married now and highly responsible with children but, there was a time when my life in many ways were just like hers. She is not perfect. I pray that she is safe and that her decisions will reflect the bigger picture. I pray for you as well. I don’t know what has happened in your life that you are so critical of others but, I bet, you’re life would be a little better for you if you kept your mouth off of others.

It is beyond me why people feel as though because they have the right to say, they should say. Having freedom to speak doesn’t always mean you should. Be well.

I have a 20 yr old, so that should tell you how old I may be , and I like her music alot actually. I have every CD. It just depends on what you like to listen too, she has beautiful slow songs that can possibly relate to everyone. IJS

What do people see in her? Many are attracted to her “I don’t give a d@mn, I do what I want” attitude. Another thing is that she is a very beautful and striking woman. That alone is enough to give her buzz.

I am not trying to mention Beyonce. While Beyonce is highly favored. Beyonce might have better range vocally but its not like she is using her gift vocally. Beyonce is an entertainer not a vocalist. If she was a vocalist she’d spend more time creating quality ballads and pieces that would be timeless. Beyonce is very basic.
Rihanna isn’t a vocalist she is an entertainer and to be honest probably a better entertainer than Beyonce. Rihanna might not give you the same function in a live performance but she gives you everything else. Also, Beyonce videos are always basic. Rihanna videos are alot more intriguing and elusive to the dark arts. Rihanna is probably a higher caliber witch in-comparison to Beyonce because she is def a bit more whorish and ruthless with the tongue. Which makes her a bit more interesting to follow.

the appeal is that she is able to make hit singles, not albums. her record label makes their revenue by putting Rihanna on promotional tours. Fact: Rihanna’s top selling album was “Good Girl Gone Bad” it has sold 2.7 million albums. none of her other albums have sold close to that. in fact, her average sales are below 500,000 copies. 500,000 copies is Gold, she can’t get any of her albums to go gold. Rihanna is a gimmick of the 16-25 generation.

I believe they are referencing the guys hand with the sleeve tattoo possibly being Chris Brown. Or alluding too. He has ruined his body with all those tattoos. Rihanna also ruined her temple as well with all those damn tattoos. I thought Rihanna was destined to tank and fall apart. Especially, with her rebelling so hard from her handlers. Try watching the video again and try to connect the dots of all the visual metaphors that even the most common of artistic individuals will understand. The song is NOT about CHRIS BROWN! It’s about LOVE IN GENERAL- It is making reference to the common statement that “Lightning Doesn’t strike the same place twice-(You only have 1 soul mate-true love.) The only reference to Chris is his HAND which if you pay attention to over the course of the video (THEY LET GO OF EACH OTHERS HAND) The video opens with her smoking DIAMONDS-NOT WEED- which is another visual metaphor for the HIGH that one gets when they connect with their Diamond-The one true love. The White smoke on the BLACK background- White Smoke is purity Black Background-The DEMONS of LOVE … Rihanna is Jay Z biggest Cash Cow are you Kidding me! ? Smoke exhalation in slow motion is used in hip hop videos to symbolize dem0nic possession. Her love is for Sa*tan. That is who the horse is, as well as the hand. When you watch videos that use the black and white film mixed with scenes in color, it is to denote the physical world vs. the spiritual world a.k.a. trans-dimensionality. The black and white world is normally the physical world. The color world normally represents the spirit world, where they receive enlightenment and instruction. This video seems to have reversed that theme. The hand grabbing hers is Sa*tan/Luci*fer’s hand because he is her spirit guide between worlds i.e. Beyonce’s “Halo” video.
