After a four year gap without releasing music, Solange will finally release a brand new EP entitled True. The new project contains 7 brand new songs, produced by Devonté Hynes (also known as Blood Orange). Check out one of our favorite cuts from the EP, “Locked In Closets.”
True will be made available on iTunes and other online retail outlets Tuesday, November 27th, while physical copies will be released at the top of 2013.

Got a nice little vibe/groove. Reminds me of Pebbles from 80s. I wish vocals were more clear and more prominent though. It doesn’t seem like an entire song – like a hook with some adlibs. Strange.

That would make sense because she said this EP was influenced by 80′s era Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, and they of course worked extensively with Prince and Janet.

OK I finally listened to it. It’s total crap, wouldn’t but or listen to it again but that’s still a great picture!
Its cool, nothing spectacular but I could def hear this playing in a lounge, in my living room while I am cleaning or just crusing the highway….so yeah it has its purpose~!
She sounds like her sister just a little. However, Solanges attitude sucks so I will be getting her music for free! LOL
she has so much more passion in her voice than her bland ass sister.

Okay so I downloaded the album last night, and I like it. The songs are really catchy. There are only seven of them, but Solo sounds really good. Her voice is not the best but she stays within her realm.

OMG i heard the album last night and I feel so sorry for the producer. A lot of wasted music. The music and production is great but the singer isnt. I am sorry but Solange can not sing.
