It needs a better song arrangement, and needs to be produced.

First of all I hope you all realize that if it wasn’t for this gentleman, Frank Ocean, Drake, The Weekend, would not even have a sound. He inspired all of the so called talented acts of new way R&B/Pop movement. I can say this as a musician myself out of respect for another I may not be a big fan but I know his influence on today’s act

@LCHARLES DEGREAT, I agree with everything you said. Dude is a true talent… writes and produces monster hits for Bieber and everyone else except himself… much in the same way that Tank does, don’t you think?

Maybe I’m lost on the details, but perhaps somebody here could fill me in on why Dream rubs people the wrong way? Attitude? Love Life? Just don’t like is voice? I can’t put my finger on it.

Anyway, back to the track at hand: I don’t really like it *shrugs* it leaves me feeling too bleak. As always though, I appreciate his transparency. Just hope he finds a happier place to write and produce from – and soon.

I disagree. I would not go as far as to say he inspired anyone. He is hit or miss when he produces for other artists. For example with Beyonce he got her a hit with “Single Ladies” and a flop with “Girls (Run the World).” I think him and Tricky Stewart make a good team and they have actually been around producing commercial music since 98/99. He is better as a producer and co-writing with Tricky Stewart than as a solo artist. Maybe if he let go of his solo career and just focused on producing then he would make more hits for other artists.
