It’s OK. I wasnt feeling it too much. She sounds so much like Toni I keep thinking why bother? But she did sing in her upper register quite a bit so that sets her apart somewhat.

It’s great to hear Tamar at her best. She can be so extra on her reality show and it can be hard to take her serious. But she is very gifted and is a great vocalist. Go Tamar!

Im liking Tamar’s upper register… i feel like thats when she sounds like Tamar and its ginuine… not feeling the beginning when she sounds like Toni…It makes me wish Toni was sanging (yes Sanging not singing) that part… Toni has a much better/ stronger lower register than Tamar. I also agree that this sounds like Keyshia Cole’s Trust and Believe remix… w/e though it’s still pretty nice… much luck to Tamar in this industry.

“Trust and Believe” is not as good as this. The melody of “Love & War” is EVERYTHING. Production is similar though, but Keyshia’s is weaker IMO.

I never comment about songs but this was great! I love it! I am glad she got that “I wanna be Lady Gaga #2″ out of her system. I am sure Vince had a lot to do with that. Yes, I understand wanting to be different but you have to understand where you and your voice belong and it’s here. This all reminds me of an updated version of good old 90′s R&B. Go girl!

Song is cool

Tamar was wise to sing in the upper register to distinguish herself from sister Toni. Also, her vibrato is much stronger than Keyshia’s song TRUST AND BELIEVE. I do hear the similarity in the two songs but Tamar’s vocal resonance is much richer. Cool performance.

She and Toni are the most similar after all even in the single pic she looks like Toni did during PULSE album promo. So yes at the begining she sounds similar in her lower register but there is a distinct difference noone is as sultry as Toni. Thats been Tamar biggest problem trying to get out of Toni’s shadow. I love the song, she can sing. This song isnt out of Toni Braxtons vocal range either I want her to do another ballad to showcase her voice as well like this song

I love the songvandals respect her talent… but I can’t stand her attitude. We speculate about the diva antics of other artists while Tamar is on TV promoting her pissy attitude. Her hubby can’t even stand it! Watching the show exhausts me and I hate how she disses the people who’ve helped her along the way especially on national TV (example: her vocal coach). Quit burning bridges! SHE’S selfish.

She sounds really good on it. I agree with a lot of people that she sounds like Toni on some parts, actually probably 50% of the record could pass as Toni, but I mean they are sisters and all of the Braxton’s sound similar in their lower register vocals. However, she still sounds hella good!
