The performance was okay, I think she could’ve done better. I couldn’t help but to laugh, when they show Wendy sitting beside her husband, and he was jamming!
It was ok. Tamar can sing but not even a fraction as good as her sister Toni Braxton.
@Jasmine, wrong! go to YouTube and listen to find songs like “The Heart In Me”, “If You Don’t Wanna Love Me”, and “Once Again”. Toni is an awesome singer obviously but Tamar has wider range (admitted by Toni herself), she can hit Mariah Carey notes , and she can definitely hold her own.

I love music, good singing, all that. I love Tamar. Really do. I LOVE. THIS. SONG. BUUUUUUT, this performance fell apart and was saved barely in the end. The vocal went from sing to scream quickly. And that look takes away from her beauty.

No. Your comment would be better to describe Beyonce and her sister Solange. Tamar is more than capable of not only standing out, holding her own and making a good name for herself without the aid of her sister, Toni. I believe she’s just that good, minus her Diva antics.
Really don’t like that dress. Love the song and overall the performance was good, but she did mess up a few times. I aint mad tho, I can’t hit none of them notes.

She’s no Toni but she’s capable. Her voice is a bit abrasive but she has skills. I think she should build up to the high notes instead of hitting them early in the song. The song is refreshing though, a good look for R&B.

What happened to her face. She looks like she had more work done. I can get passed the nerves but can’t understand the identity crisis many of these artist have these days. Blond hair, pale skin…crazy. Vocals could be better but she has time to make it better.

yes I hate when people constantly say she sounds like Toni. Do people not understand they are sisters? All the Braxtons kinda sound alike while singing sometimes. My cousins have a similar voice to their mom n sometimes ppl tell me I sound like my older sister when I speak sometimes. Geesh!

Tamar can sing. I’ve heard her sing this song better but there is no doubt that this girl can sing. People will always compare her and Toni who I am a huge fan of but she has a long way to go to hit her sister’s status. When she can get the second biggest selling single in music history like her sister than we can talk. And someone said toni is jealous of her and that’s so far off. Why would she be jealous of her? That doesn’t make sense. Toni has one of the best singing voices of all time and because you can hit a higher note doesn’t make you a better singer. I wish the Braxton sister’s the best in everything they do. Especially as a family. People will try to break that up because they don’t have a family of their own or people to care for them but I hope everything works out for all of them.

Go Tamar, she does sound a little like Toni but I believe Tamar can go places with her vocals Toni can’t. Sorry Toni can only sing Toni type songs. To be truthful sometimes I don’t understand a word Toni is saying when she sings. Toni admitted herself Tamar is a better singer. But they both can do the damn thing.

She sounded a bit pitchy, maybe cause she was nervous. She seemed to really loosen up towards the end which was nice. I like the song, I’m sure she’ll deliver a good album especially with Vince and Shawn behind her.
This song takes a lot of breath control to sing live. She isnt better singer than toni just has a wider upper register. Toni is a legend so stop comparing. I love the song its a great song and she is a great singer to portray it

Tamar has an excellent voice by ANY standard. Hopefully folks won’t hold her childish personality against her. Personally, it irked me at first, but I’ve grown to love this ‘big kid’. She should be very successful with her team behind her. I know I’ll be supporting her 100%.
