After weeks of scrutiny and negative press about whether or not her Presidential Inauguration National Anthem performance was live, a confident Beyonce decided to throw a little “shade” at the Pepsi Super Bowl Press Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana on Thursday (January 31st).
She came out in a fitted white dress and starting singing the National Anthem live in front of a crowd of shocked press. After she was done she asked, “Any Questions?” And of course there were.
ON WHETHER OR NOT SHE USED A BACKING TRACK DURING THE INAUGURATION:
Due to the weather, due to the delay, due to no proper sound-check, I did not feel comfortable taking a risk. It was about the President and the Inauguration and I wanted to make him and my country proud. So I decided to sing along with my pre-recorded track. Which is very common in the music industry. And I’m very proud of my performance.
ON IF SHE WILL BE SINGING LIVE AT THE SUPER BOWL:
I will absolutely be singing live. I am well-rehearsed & I will be singing live. This is what I was born to do.
WILL SHE BE GOING ON TOUR?

You know what this whole lip-syncing scandal has made me realize? Bee has probably lip synced all her concert performances. Here’s my rationale: 1.) If not for people telling on her, most of us would have never known she lip synced. She’s that damn good at faking it. 2.) That performance just now with all the straining and grunting and heavy breathing while standing still just made me realize there is no way she can sing clearly while doing all that dancing. No way.
Realistically, this is not a Beyonce deception issue. I do not believe she never sings live. As she stated during the press conference, singing along with a pre-recorded track is a common occurrence in the industry. Consider, even in the best of shape, an entertainer that flips, runs, jumps, dances and in general has a high energy performance would likely use pre-recorded tracks for portions of their sets. They are entertainers not robots and the human body, the lungs in particular work the same for all of us. Consider how athletes run the 50 yard dash as fast as they can and are interviewed shortly afterwards. Notice they can barely talk as they are struggling to breath. Imagine if they tried to sing rather than talk? Sometimes the entertainer will engage the audience in singing right after a particularly strenuous routine or just let the track play and not sing or rap, I believe it’s sometimes done to catch their breath. And what of the elements’, like smoke, cold air, haziness, rain, impact on their ability to deliver a perfect performance? Sure sometimes they can overcome the elements, but it would depend on the severity of the conditions. Beyonce “singing” to a pre-recorded track is a non issue for me as she can sing. A few others in the industry have come out to say that it certainly is not unique to Beyonce. Don’t expect a barrage of others to come out stating as much as they would not want to disappoint the fans and the record companies would not want to hurt their profits. Again, a non-issue for me if the entertainer is a proven talent and that certainly applies to Beyonce.

Ive been accused of being a hater when i made this observation long ago: THERE IS NO WAY HUMANLY POSSIBLE HER OR ANY1 ELSE CAN SING AND DANCE TO SUCH EXTREMES W/O LOSIN THEIR BREATH – unless of course they r a demon aka sasha.fierce lol
