THE FUNNY & THE SHADY
Not sure what was going on in the on Sunday night but the celebrity shade was legendary! Here are my picks for top funniest/shadiest moments of the night.
JAY-Z JOKES ON THE DREAM
Frank Ocean, The Dream and Jay-Z won a Grammy for ‘Best/Rap Song Collaboration’ for the song “No Church In The Wild” and after two heartfelt speeches from Frank and Dream, Jay decided to speak what was going through everyone elese’s mind! Dream’s less than impressive Grammy attire. In a joke/ shady kinda way, he said, “I would like to thank the swap meet for his hat.”
Pointing to the award winning singer-songwriter-producer. The whole place erupted in laughter! Twitter was set ablaze and I know The Dream was feeling some type of way. ROFL!!. Check out the photo above!
CHRIS BROWN DOESN’T STAND FOR FRANK
Frank Ocean had just won a Grammy for ‘best urban contemporary album’ for his debut album, Channel Orange and the whole audience stood to their feet as he walked to get his award, well that is except for Chris Brown. LOL! I guess there is still a grudge from their parking lot brawl a couple weeks ago. At least Chris clapped though.
ROFL!!! Adele was not impressed with Chris AT ALL..
KELLY CLARKSON DOESN’T KNOW MIGUEL
When Kelly Clarkson won for an award for ‘Best Pop Vocal Album,’ and she looked like she was feeling her drinks. She spoke candidly about how fine her fiancee looked, the alcohol in her system and also brought some attention to singer-songwriter Miguel. The American Idol winner said, “Miguel, I don’t know who the hell you are, but we need to sing together!”
Talk about a back-handed compliment. ROFL!! Would love to hear a track from them though. They are pictured backstage at the end of the show (w/ singer-songwriter Mikky Ekko), so I guess Miguel had no hard feelings. HA!
BUT THE BEST PART OF THE NIGHT WAS…
Forget the performances and fashion, the best part of the 55th Annual Grammy Awards was the facial expressions from the celebrity attendees. Telling by the photos, everyone was sipping on that Hennessy and didn’t care that all the cameras were on them. While there were a bunch of facial expressions from the night, I would have to say the top two were from Drake and Jay-Z!! Everyone was twittering about what they did!
Actress-singer Jennifer Lopez walked out on stage with rapper Pitbull to announce the ‘Best Pop Vocal Performance’ and wow’d the crowd. The mother of two came out rocking a leggy number and Drake nearly died! Check out the .gifs below.

DREAM LOOKED A MESS! anyway, Beyonce was cute, KELLY SLAYED, Alicia & MAROON 5 was HOT, LOVED THE MASHUP! JT did his thang, Frank was artistic, BUT he sounded BLAH! — MIGUEL IS AWESOME & did NOT need Whiz up there-NO MAM!, ummmm, the rest was like, egh, Rihanna was aiiiite, the Bob Marley tribute was nice tho….,
I wish Diddy was in the audience. I would’ve loved to see his face when J. Lo walked out!
Prince bested all those lower lights and lower lifes by just being there,.
You know I was thinking that. Miguel tried very hard to give his best Prince impersonation and I found it laughable. Miguel has talent but his stagecraft needs a lot of work.
Angel, you really need to ban Judah on here, he’s doesn’t contribute anything besides hate period, GET RID OF HIM!!! That is all

The Dream looked a mess and I am glad Jay Z said something to embarrass him. I guess it was too hard to purchase a suit maybe? J-lo was fly in the dress and keeps herself in great shape. I don’t blame Chris because I don’t feel like Frank Ocean should have won. Nobody cared for his album until he revealed he was single about a dude and Chris Brown knew that. Miguel should have won if anything. Prince is just the man!
I think Kelly Clarkson was wrong for saying that. How ignorant do you have to be to not know who Miguel is?? Not only is he a known vocalist, he was very successful behind the scenes as a writer. You mean to tell me that as an artist herself, she’s never even heard of him?? Oh please. She was trying to be funny, looking like Adele’s twin sister. She most certainly was drunk.
Agreed, I said the same thing. It was an “oh no she didn’t” moment.
YASSSS!! i just wanted to give props on this post…most hilarious post I’v e seen on CL…LOL! I didn’t watch last night, so this definitely did capture all the funny moments for those that missed it…thanks!
The Dream – embarrassing. Cannot believe he really went to the Grammys looking like he was suppose to be at the BET awards.
Chris Brown – lol at the guy behind Adele looking over at him. Who cares if he didn’t stand – I found it funny.
Prince – he didn’t even look like he wanted to be there.
Kyla, lol… look at that same dude looking at Chris thinking, this dude gonna show out. LOL, I wouldnt have stood either because the simple clap is enough. Why people want this dude to do shit that would take almost all of us everything in the world to do. I honestly don’t think dudes album outsold, got more spins, or sounds anything close to Chris. In my opinion, that as Chris award. But, knowing Chris… that will fuel him to go hard… standby for a powerful ballad showcasing Chris Browns range and lyrical talent.

The Dream looked trashy, Bey looked gorgeous. Out of the performances, I liked JT’s the most. As far as the awards go, I think Nas deserved an award for ‘Daughters’.
Yall crazy. Beyonce looks hideous. I mean that. Her hair wasn’t right at all….it wasn’t even smooth looking. The red lipstick is horrible on ANYBODY except for Rihanna for some weird reason. Beyonce’s outfit was BORING. Looked like she was going to an office meeting. Are you kidding me? She wasn’t glammed up AT ALL. No ma’am. You HAVE GOT TO BE a stan. Cuz yall mothafukkas think everything she does is perfect. I think you might need glasses. For real.
