Oscars red carpet favorite, Halle Berry will be starring in the upcoming thriller movie, The Call.
In the Brad Anderson-directed film, Berry plays a veteran 911 operator named Jordan who “takes a life-altering call from a teenage girl who has just been abducted. She realizes that she must confront a killer from her past in order to save the girl’s life.”
Actors Morris Chestnut, Michael Eklund, Abigail Breslin and Michael Imperioli also star in the film. Check out both trailer versions in the video above, if you haven’t seen it already.

Yes, I understand this is just a movie but is it just me or am I the only one not finding this role believeable? I mean, its one thing to have an operator to go above and beyond to help citizens over the phone and assist with the matter at hand. But, Halle’s character goes out of her way to save a girl that was grabbed in a parking structure and she even tracks down the killer?!?!?
I’m good on Halle Berry. If there are any emergency dispatchers that can make me understand something I would appreciate it.
The movie looks good I would watch it it’s different than what’s out now a days
:/ Why is she in all these bootleg roles? C’mon Halle… don’t take it just because it’s a check. You’re better than this…. and that wig.
It may not be believable but I still think it looks good.
I’ll be watching.
This was a story on “Law and Order:SVU” many years ago…Olivia Benson took a call from a 9 yr old girl who had been kidnapped by a sexual predator….
I remember that episode.
I think this is slightly different though ..
I remember that episode on Law and Order Special Victims but I also remember the original case that was in the news the story came from. This movie looks like it is made for TV. Halle picks her movies like she does her men…lately all flops. Time for new management and for her to let her manager pick / find better roles for her.
You unsastified people the movie will be great all because halle berry is the star of the show.Don’t judge until you go to the movies and see it for yourself. sometimes preview’s can be deceiving, either in a good way or in a bad way.
Seriously, what movie is believable? This movie actually looks good tho. We know its not Oscar worthy but definitely worth the watch. I’ll be viewing this with the “what if” eye and not the “impossible” eye because all in all, it’s just a movie.
