With her new single, “Lose to Win” out in the airwaves, Fantasia Barrino is ready to get back to the music and has released an image of her newest album cover. The former American Idol finalist will be dropping her fourth studio album named The Side Effects of You via RCA Records this spring. The album will feature latest single, which is currently #11 on the Nielsen BDS Urban Adult Airplay chart. The album artwork was photographed by Gomillion & Leupold and styled by Mia Morgan.

Now I have to go and listen to the song again because honestly I wasn’t feeling it. Normally when listening to her previous songs I always say to myself she is not singing her truth. ( I’m doing me) Her explaining this song makes me feel like she is now singing her truth. I pray she has much success!!
I hope people are not this naive. Fantasia is trying to tell a CD. If she lost anything it’s because of her own selfish decisions. She has a daughter and her behavior was so selfish that she did not even consider how her decisions would impact the first child that she had. These fake confessionals and generic songs that rely on an established beat just don’t impress me. If Fantasia saw a therapist that would impress me more.
How do you know she hasn’t seen one?
Yeah how do you know she hasn’t. Number one who are you anyway. She does not have to please you. Clean your own damn house before speaking on someone else’s house (i.e. personal life). Really people like you kill me. Always being judge mental about someone’s else’s life, throwing stones at glass houses. If you don’t like her for her so called actions; I would say don’t listen, read or look at any thing Fantasia. Ur so foolish
Who am I? I’m the person who Fantasia would like to purchase her new CD. Why do you think this vide even exists. But I’m not stupid enough to do that because I see past a marketing ploy. As far as Fantasia’s “personal life” as you describe it?? Fantasia is the one who put her trashy personal life on National TV for all to see. This is the woman who attempted suicide for a man who was already married? Remember that? Great example for her daughter and her fans. Black women are the largest group of women who raise children alone in the United States over 70%. Don’t you wonder why that is? Do you think Fantasia is helping this issue in any way? Foolish is Fantasia for the poor choices she makes..over and over and over. If Fantasia does not want people to judge her maybe she should not put so much of her messiness on TV and maybe she should make better decision not to sell a CD but for her own well being.
Fantasia doesn’t represent black women, she represents herself. It’s her life, her mistakes, we only get to consume the music. If that’s not what you plan on doing, then move along.
You know we “ALL” go through things in our life! And if you don’t confront them head on you will never heal. Fantasia not only exposed them head on but to the entire world. THAT is commendable. She has time and TIME AGAIN showed the world she has been working on her. She dropped out of school when she was young True. But there is something to say about a Woman with kids who has millions to go BACK and get her GED. Fantasia tried to end her life as MANY Entertainers do, but she has been working with a LIFE Coach getting her Life in order. She fell in Love with a man who had already fallen out of Love with his Wife and had a beautiful baby boy by it. She is human let he/she who has not sinned cast the first stone. (Boy if you don’t put that damn rock down!) I am a fan and will always be a fan of Fantasia Monique Barrino! She does not just exist in this world she is living. And to have a Testimony you have to WHAT saints…… To God Be the Glory! Who but a woman who has been through SO MUCH can help others out of their own darkness! That is exactly why I say she is a Light House for her fans and enemies. She is leading people out to the light, out to safety. Someone who isn’t strong enough to stand alone in the dark can never do what she does……Let me stop because I am about to go to church and it ain’t even Sunday!

Overstreet does Fantasia owe you some money or something ?. You have been laying it on thick. How do you know how she feels ? How do you know she has not seen a therapist. Or if she has a life coach. You should not be so hard on her. As far as being naive. I would purchase the cd without her saying a word. I have sense enough to know that people evolve and change through pain. I hope you never really go through anything in life Mr. Got it going on.And you don’t have to buy it !!! Which you probably will not.She is more talented than most and that’s all I care about and the song is TRUTH she did not lie.
By the way I know you people have never been through anything. Life has and always is a piece of cake so you can relate to this song. Every artist that you claim to be a fan of can relate but they have all lost at some point but kept going to win. They did not start at the TOP..And there were struggles in their lives as well as obstacles. Young and old alike rich or poor this song is relative too. I’m out !!
