MUSIC NEWS: JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE RELEASES ALBUM COVER + TRACKLISTING FOR “THE 20/20 EXPERIENCE”

February 7th, 2013

He’s taken an extremely long hiatus from the recording industry, but Justin Timberlake is back with his upcoming third solo album, The 20/20 Experience. Much to fans delight, Justin released his first Jay-Z-assisted single, “Suit & Tie,” and now, gearing up for the release of the new LP, which is due out March 19th, he reveals the cover and tracklisting to the new project.

He sat down with Ryan Seacrest recently to talk about the new project.

It more or less came out of I was playing some of the stuff for my friends and they would come in and out of the studio and I’d say, ‘What do you think of this?’ And my best friend said, ‘This is music that you can see,’ and for some reason that stuck with me.

In addition to releasing the new album, which he admittedly recording quietly last summer, JT plans on releasing a documentary, with footage of the recording process.

That little piece of footage is from a documentary that we sort of started working on throughout the making of the album, which started last June

Timberlake also confirms that he will performing at this year’s Grammy Awards, which air this Sunday, February 10th and play a sold-out concert at the Palladium in Los Angeles that same evening.

I’m excited to hear the project, the other records that I’ve heard sound really good. 6 Years though and only 10 songs.
