MUSIC VIDEO: ELLI INGRAM – “POETIC JUSTICE”

ELLI INGRAM'S TAKE ON "POETIC JUSTICE"

UK songstress Elli Ingram is blowing up on youtube with her soulful take on popular songs. She went viral last year for singing the hook on UK rapper Benny Banks’ “Let Me Be” track.

Now, the 19-year-old just released her take on Kendrick Lamar’s “Poetic Justice” in music video form. She’s super dope and addictive in a jazzy soul rap kind of way. Shout out to NEXT2SHINE for hipping us to her.

  1. Without even looking I knew this chic was from the UK. Its like the hub of all singers that are dope and cool. Love this girl!

Her video reminds me the Weeknd’s videos with more color. They use the same effects.

For the Idiot who said they were sick of white people trying to be black, go stick a lit stick of dynamite up your A$$ OR GO LIVE UNDER A ROCK…. Discrimination is not the way to move forward. Anyway, I enjoy the cover. I reminds me of a younger Joss Stone with a hip-hop twist. Very nice :)

  11. Yoo! UK artists are THEE BEST! im sorry but they are so connected with the past, present and future of music. And their style, their sound…all soo dope. So retro & nostalgic, yet so futuristic & whimsical all at the same damn time! I freakin love it! They bring back my hope in good music.
