Philly native Eve has been quiet in the rap game for a while, but she’s back with the second single from her upcoming fourth studio album, Lip Lock, which has been several years in the making. Not to mention, it has been over a decade since she has released a new album.
Check out the brand new single, “Make It Out This Town,” featuring Gabe Saporta of Cobra Starship below. Reports have said that Eve has already shot a visual for the track and it’s expected to drop sometime in March.
Lip Lock is slated to hit stores May 14th.

This does not sound like Eve material. Started off sounding like the Far East Movement “Rocketeer” which i love, but I dont want to hear a copycat to the song.

This is a song that is being used for a children’s charity…Big Brothers/Little Brothers asked her to write a inspirational song for a younger crowd. i dig it for what it is and the message it conveys. INSPIRATIONAL FOR THE YOUTH
What was her first single from the album?
Very classy single. That’s a good look and something that will attract different groups of fans (not that she does not have them already). The song just has a welcoming vibe something that is soft, sweet, and intimate. Good direction and foundation for variety.
