I actually like the song. I think the world would be a better place if people didn’t compare artist to each other. Let them be who they are. Let’s also note that the girl never said she was Mariah or Whitney, and to be honest… I don’t want to live in a world full of Mariah Carey & Whitney Houston-esque songs. Then people would be complaining that all the songs sound the same. No disrespect to them because I love both of them as artist, but music to me is music, and I feel there is room for everyone. Big Ups to Tahiry for expressing herself through music.
