Weeks after the whole Keyshia Cole Twitter rant / shade throwing on Superbowl Sunday, Michelle Williams has now decided to put her foot down and lay the whole debacle to rest. The Destiny’s Child singer-actress sat down with Chicago’s V103 host Kelly Mac to talk about the incident and accusations of her responding to Cole’s out of pocket tweets.
Where did I have the time? We were too busy celebrating. The unfortunate thing about social media is that so many things can be fabricated. I will say this once and I will not say it again. I did not tweet what was said that I tweeted. And I actually put that out there. Always look at that person’s original timeline. I do not delete tweets. So if you did not see it on my original timeline, then know that it did not come from me.
As far as Keyshia’s claims about Michelle allegedly making comments about her Soul Train performance, the ‘FELA!’ actress went on to say that she is a spokesperson for National Voices for Equality, Education and Enlightenment (NVEEE) organization and would never encourage bullying. I understand that Michelle wanted to take the “classy and dignified” road, but someone should tell OFF-KEYshia Cole to learn to sing on key, before bashing others. That’s why she’ll never get past BET reality shows, and sweaty Atlanta nightclubs
Also, Michelle just came from performing at the SUPER BOWL, she’s 1/3 of the BIGGEST-SELLING female group in history, she’s a WORKING actress, and is PAID! Not to mention, she can sing ON key, sing with NO music, can speak proper english, and ISNT a crack baby. She’s winning, still.

Anyway, I like Keyshia Cole, but I think her attacks against Michelle Williams are very childish and unprofessional. I’m sure there are plenty of artists that don’t feel another artist deserves the spotlight or that don’t like each other, but generally, they keep it to themselves. It’s sort of like a silent code. You just don’t attack another artist’s performances, no matter how bad you think it is, because you never know when you’ll be in the same boat…

I think Michelle handled it well and is one of the classiest singers in the business. I too wish she would have told Keyshia off, even in a classy way, but Michelle is too much of a nice person and doesn’t care what people think. Keyshia will forever be an illiterate hoodrat. I’m no longer a fan of hers.
Yea, I think Keyshia lost a lot of respect after her unprofessional, childish rants. As a professional artist, you just don’t do stuff like that. (Take note Chris Brown!) By not responding in a negative way, Michelle pretty much dismissed Keyshia all together. Kudos to her!
I’m just mad that none of the blogs posted the clip of Michelle performing on ‘FELA’ after Keyshia’s little ‘twitter outburst’. If you want to shut up the haters, do like Beyonce and upload a killer performance like the one I just say. I’m telling ya’ll, Michelle can sing Keyshia under the table, and I’m just being nice about it. Find the video on The Shakespeare Theatre’s youtube page, it will blow you away.

I’m done being Keyshia Cole fan!!! No humility whatsoever, she came out as bitter and pathetic to be honest. Also the fact she turned me off was the way she treat the husband and her step-mom on her BET show, I stopped watching it. She’s very selfish and rude. I will no longer support her music. I’m glad Michelle took the classy road that Keyshia will never comprehend on how to conduct herself in the public eye especially being a musician. I’m still waiting on what Michelle “supposedly” said about Keyshia performance from Keyshia’s mouth, and guess what- SHE HAS NO THESIS ON WHAT MICHELLE SAID!!! Keyshia get it together!!!
AMEN!!! I like Keyshia Cole, but I can’t support foolery. Michelle did more by keeping it classy than retaliating in a negative manner. It made Keyshia look even more pathetic than when she first tweeted comments about Michelle. Now, why would Keyshia want to do something like this if she’s such a successful artist? The way I see it, Keyshia Cole is a very bitter soul. Whatever Michelle allegedly said about her had to have been old or obviously just irrelevant because no one knows what it was. To ponder on that and come back at a time where Michelle is celebrating life while you’re at home watching to me shows just how bitter and childish she really is. You would think that someone who has been through so much would be able to actually be woman enough to let unimportant things go. I feel that there’s a lot of celebrities who feed into the negative light. However, misery loves company and she wanted to feed off of hurting someone else because that’s truly a reflection of herself. It appears from previous comments, she’s already lost a few fans and I don’t think she had a strong fan base in the first place. Her reality show turned me off as well. Not to throw shade but here’s the bottom line. Michelle performed with Beyonce at the Superbowl. Keyshia Cole was asked to open for “The Weekend” whom is a new artist. Need I say more?
Michelle seems very down to earth and humble. It’s nice to hear some positive head back for a change. The hair looks cute on her also. Good look Michelle for being a lady.
