The first glimpse of those kids just broke my heart when I thought about their fallen classmates and how they witnessed it all. But hearing them sing warmed my heart all over again. As for J. Hud, she may have lost the weight, but Lord knows she hasn’t lost the voice. My God! Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssssssssssss, Hunty! Yes! I used to think people were crazy back in the “Dreamgirls” days when they said J. Hud is a better singer than Bee. I used to be like “hell no,” but I see it now. She is.
