Boxer-turned actor, Mike Tyson stopped by the Katie Couric show this week and talked about his very controversial past. In the very ‘Oprah-esque” interview, Couric asks him about his past violence towards women, his marriage to Robin Givens, & the impact the infamous “biting” incident with Evander Holyfield still has on his life today.
Why were you violent towards everybody you think? Where, where did that come from?”
Mike Tyson: “I don’t know, ‘cause I hated myself and I wanted them to feel the pain that I felt at the time. I don’t know. I was not well. I’m just a guy trying to bridge the gaps between who I am and what I wanna be as I was saying and that’s gonna take a lot of um, that’s gonna take a whole lot of struggling.”

Sad.
Thats not sad , Mike is growing and trying to change …i am so proud of him .
He’s trying to be honest with himself . And helping millions be a man , by telling his Story .
He’s Real and i respect that .
Mike is a fighter not only in the ring , but in his personal life . he is releasing the anger and bondage that held him down , and that’s a real fight. congratulations to you Mike Tyson
