This week, Entertainment Tonight announces that the eldest child of the late great Michael Jackson, Prince Michael Jackson has been named as a correspondent.
The 16 year old will have his first interview this week with actors James Franco and Zach Braff, and director Sam Raimi of Disney’s Oz the Great & Powerful some time this week.
I’m looking to become well-rounded as a producer, director, screenwriter and actor.
It’s been rumored that ET’s Brooke Anderson has taken him under her wing. He revealed to the show this week.
Very surprising! It’ll be interesting to see what those other Jackson children do!
Hollywood will never cease to amaze me. I guess ratings must be an issue for this network if they have to hire a 16 year old as a correspondent. I know Michael Jackson would not have allowed this if he were alive. And we all know he does not need the money. Just a bad idea all the way around. Let children enjoy their childhood. He has a lifetime to work. And let’s face it. Being a correspondent for E is not exactly something the first born son of Michael Jackson needs in any way.

Hollywood amazes me. I know there is a schooled, qualified, capable journalist somewhere saying “What the…!” If his dad were alive he would probably discourage him for 2 reasons (in my MJ voice), No Prince, you’re a kid you shouldn’t be working you should be thinking about rainbows and unicorns. Besides you’re not prepared, if Joe taught me anything he taught me to be prepared , we spent 25 hours a day, 8 days a week working on our craft. RIP MJ!

Ever since Prince Michael Jackson was a kid he/or MJ always said he wants to direct and produce and have a hands on role in entertainment so why is this a shock? I’m a HUGE MJ fan and all about respecting his privacy and children but his kids seem pretty vocal about their freedom and legacy. I’m sure he will do a great job after seeing all the journalists and entertainment shows that did his dad wrong in the past. Good for him!
Doing interview has nothing to do with directing or producing. This is a hire that helps the TV show more than Prince Michael.
