Rihanna took a break from rehearsing for her upcoming tour and headed to the UK to reveal her new clothing line at the River Island flagship store in London’s Oxford Street on Monday, March 4. The 25 year-old singer wore one of her black collection dresses, accented with gold jewelry and a deep red lip and sandal heels.
Before the fashion show went underway, the Barbados-natived shared a few words with the APTN and described her line and admitted that she designed her pieces with her personal and women’s tastes in mind:
Because I’m with a large group of women who have different sizes, different tastes, different body types, and I wanted to design something that everybody could wear because I wanted all my friends to have something too. But I’d still wear everything.
After celebrating her exciting accolade, Rihanna hit up the DSTRKT nightclub to celebrate, rocking a cropped tee from her collection with two pairs of jeans to top off her edgy look. Rihanna, does it look good for larger women to wear cropped tops ?? I don’t understand why she would say that she designed clothes for different body types and sizes when that is clearly not true…on top of that the clothes looks cheap….I happen to like Rihanna but this new venture is a bit of a flop in my opinion
