Ms. Ciara posed it up for the latest issue of high fashion publication Annex magazine! Inside the March-May issue, the singer-songwriter dishes on what we can all expect from her upcoming studio album, One Woman Army:
I am approaching this record in a different way than I have any other project before. While recording “One Woman Army” I have been running towards my fears and allowing myself to be vulnerable in many ways; for the first time I allowed myself to be completely open in the music making process. I can honestly say this is the most fun that I’ve ever had making an album.
She also admits her love for music by other artists like Lana Del Ray, Kendrick Lamar and Drake. This edition of Annex will be available for download on March 18th, six days after her new single drops on iTunes (March 12). Check out the second cover and a behind-the-scenes clip below..

Ciara sit down. Our black female artists need to stop trying to be like Beyonce. They will never be able to top Bey until she retires. Where are they now(Ashanti,Mya,Keri Hilson,and Blu Cantrall)? I guess being Number 2 ain’t bad.
Maybe she’s just being Ciara…not Beyonce. There is room for everyone. Don’t be a crab pulling others down for no reason. We as black folk only think there can be one. The widen the spotlight…we bust other people’s light out. Leave her be…

It is so sad to me that black women in Hollywood want to appear lighter, pointy noses, and blonde hair. Ciara nose looks different. could be make up or surgery. The blonde wig does not look good from certain angles. on all of her instagram pics she uses the “lightskin” filter (amaro)..smh

I don’t think Ciara has ever released a good album except for her first. The style that put her on the map was crunk / r&b and now with that style not being popular Ciara and her team keep putting out flop records in her attempts to cross over to a pop audience. Her whole “wannabe sexy” image comes off as forced and unnatural and her pop music is not enjoyable. I think her last good song was “Ride (featuring Ludacris)” which was a r&b / simi-crunk record but she messed that song up from being a hit by getting the video banned from BET with the overly “wannabe sexy” image. My advice to her and her team is to just make good r&b / crunk music and keep it moving. That way she can do more dancing since she is really just a dancer and at the same time put out an album that sells. After “Body Part” flops she will be dropped again from her new label. If she keeps flopping no label is going to want her.

She looks like a want to be old Hollywood white woman on the cover. And people have a nerve to say that Beyoncé, who is naturally light and has slightly narrow facial features, tries to look white? It is obvious that CERROR had surgery not only on her breasts, but nose. At darn near 28 years old and with 2 flop albums and one moderately successful album, she needs to find a new career path. She had no authentic talent to begin with. Her ghetto music and baby voice are not getting her anywhere and are annoying.
