America’s favorite twins grace the cover of Essence magazine’s April 2013 edition. Inside, Tamera Mowry-Housley and Tia Mowry-Hardrict gush over being happily married mothers and share their experience with having their reality show, Tia and Tamera:
TIA ON BEING MATERNAL:
I feel sexier now, as a mother, than I ever have in my life. I’m more in tune with my body. I don’t take any crap anymore either.
TAMERA ON BEING A MOMMY:
I’ve always wanted to be a mother. I’m a nurturer, a girly girl. I know my priorities: God, family and work … When those things are in check, the work will flow.
TIA ON REALITY TV:
We didn’t want to do a reality show if we couldn’t be real—if I couldn’t be myself. There is no ‘evil twin’ syndrome, though we do have evil moments…[Source]
The duo recently will be launching Mama Need, a product line for fellow mommies and their babies. Check out two pics from their spread, including the one of them with their adorable sons, Aden & Cree.

I haven’t seen a picture of Tamera’s son since he was born, he’s so cute!
Very cute.
P.S. The word is spelled “matErnal”
Hey Troof! Thank you! Long day
Beautiful
Love these two ladies. They have been in the business for awhile and I’ve heard nothing but positive things about them. I know they’re not perfect, but I think they would make lovely role models.
I agree! They seem so humble…u can tell they have great spirits and that they believe in God! I love them
Hey, Is JUDAH banned? i know he’d say some outrageous things, but over all there were times he had good points. IDK, Good, bad, or indifferent, I just appreciate everyone’s input or opinions, Even scavengers sometimes find treasures within other people’s trash.
Lol Not at all! We were wondering the same thing…
Beautiful pictures, lovely ladies and cutie kids!!
great pictures tia and tamera seem so cool, but essence is trash it’s 2013 why in the hell would they stamp FOR BLACK WOMEN on the cover of a nationally distributed magazine just put FOR WOMEN.
theres a few wide spread ags for black women. sister 2 sister, essence, ebony (men as well ofc), etc.
LOVE these 2.
I love the green shoes!
I watch you young ladies grew up to be beautiful young ladies.
I love these women. I get so tired of watching other reality shows with women fighting and being catty toward one other. Their show is very refreshing…and funny!!
Keep up the good work
