CL Artist to Watch featured singer Travis Garland officially dropped his 5-track EP, Fashionable Late (Vol. 2). The Texas-native delivers soulful vocals over contemporary, smooth beats like “Where to Land” and “Blue Electric Roses.”

You may remember the 23-year old from his brief run with the pop boy band, NLT. Since his release from Interscope records, Garland teamed up with the super producer team, Stereotypes and independently dropped his first EP, Fashionably Late, Vol. I late last year. In a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, the heartthrob compared his solo artist sound to a popular Southern dish:

I tell people its gumbo. [laughs] It’s a little bit of pop and R&B, paired with growing up singing in church. And sex, vibe and art all thrown together.
