R&B’s very own John Legend broke his music silence with the release of “The Beginning.” The Grammy award winning singer-songwriter announced from his new single on his Twitter page, saying “You’ve been waiting long enough, this is just “The Beginning”..
The song will be among the tracks listed on his upcoming studio album, Love in the Future.
Legend also revealed recently that Kanye West will be lending his production skills to his 4th compilation. Check out the song below.
I love this song. It’s so grown up and sexy. What a change from all the other nonsensical garbage that’s so called “music” nowadays.

This song is actually sampling a song from Sara Bareilles and Ingrid Michaelson called Winter’s Song. I like what John did with this though. Sounds really nice!
Sorry friends but I think this is major boring and going nowhere fast. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not bad but honestly, it’s just not that compelling- especially when you know he sampled Sara Bareilles to get there. I’m really disappointed in John lately. Not much originality or growth seems to be happening. No fire. I hope the old Kanye can inspire something truly stunning and great for the next album. This is a “one listen” kind of tune.
On a more positive note, the flowers are really nice.
