Check out this new track from singer-songwriter and actress Jade. Written by James Fauntleroy, the smooth “Freedom” track is off of her upcoming EP release, JADED. Keep it locked to CL for more info on this new artist..
Gosh, these New Orleans acts are coming out the wordwork like these Nigerian singers. lol. I’m mad you responded because now I’m biased (The N.O. is one my favorite places to be).
Willing to be called a “hater”, and be crucified a million times for this statement: This was absolutely boring….stuff you’d hear in a department store dressing room, or at the airport.
It is YOUR opinion so I really don’t see your point in stating that you are willing to be called a “hater”. It’s expected when you leave one, and it’s just as expected for people to call you one because you don’t like the song. It’s simple really:
Can’t stand the heat, don’t make use of your first amendment rights. Jus sayin.
Oh, and, we get it, you don’t like the song…….. great!!!!!
Thanks for lashing out at me….I didnt even have to get to your comment below, to know that unlike me, you DO like the song. You don’t see my point in stating what I stated…that’s cool….I don’t see your point in telling me that. (see how that works?) I did so, not for YOU to “see the point”, but because I felt it necessary. So much for mentioning first amendment rights…smh.
If this is who I think this is she typically portrays the antagonistic girlfriend who can’t be trusted, lol.
I’m mos def diggin this track, it has an alternative-soul sound and it rides. I especially like how the guitar comes in giving it a west coast jazz kind of vibe. I’ve already followed her on Soundcloud. Can’t wait to hear more from her.
Where is she from??!! Talent like this is a gift from god, you must recognizzz.
Velvety vocals rapped in the most delicious package your eyes have ever heard. Why make us wait so long???
This is awesome and fresh!! Where is she from?
New Orleans.

She is from Houma, LA, which is NOT New Orleans.
her PR told me New Orleans..
Usual mistake by those that are not from here. I am sure her PR is out of NY. Everywhere in Louisiana is New Orleans to outsiders.
