Grammy Award winning Rapper Lil’ Wayne is currently recovering at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, California after another seizure scare.
According to reports, the rapper’s body guard found him unconscious on the floor in his room late Friday afternoon and rushed to get him help. The 30-year-old New Orleans native had just been in the same hospital earlier this week for similar seizures but was released.
While TMZ has reported that the rapper is in a medically induced coma, a tweet has surfaced from Lil’ Wayne’s twitter account (@liltunechi) to contradict those claims, as well as YMCMB president Mack Maine disputing that Wayne is in a coma or has breathing assistance. His publicist also released this statement:
He is not in critical condition. He is recovering and doing well now. He appreciates everyone’s concern. But he is ok.
According to CNN, rapper and Lil Wayne business partner Drake rushed to the hospital Friday night and set up vigil:
Drake appeared at the Los Angeles hospital, where Lil Wayne is being treated, with an entourage of Wayne’s friends. They pulled up chairs in the hallway near his room and set up a vigil.

The Lord is talking to this little demon and shakin’ his a$$ up. I remember a long time ago, he had a photo where is was a scientist and he had two vials. One was labeled “misinformation” and the other was labeled “disinformation”, simply showing that his role (or one of them) is to spread confusion.
I have a feeling Lil Wayne is in bad shape this time around and he’s not doing as fine as his crew would want us to believe. Why are they holding a vigil in the hallway? Something ain’t right here. My prayers are with him.
i agree. i don’t believe they are telling the fans the truth right now either! it all reminds me of when Tupac had got shot that last time and there were so many different conflicting reports on his condition, nobody knew what to believe! smh………

they said he drank some ‘bootleg’ syrup given to him by friends which contained antifreeze among other chemicals. i’ve heard of people drinking antifreeze to commit suicide…..so WTH?!

I don’t believe his camp is telling the truth either. I don’t get it. Why lie about something so serious. I do pray that he pulls through, but also he has to make some drastic changes with his life if he does. I pray for his full recovery.
This time its very serious, because there are too many false reports out their, but no statements from his label yet. Cough syrup is a serious drug, and he suffers from seizures as well. I hope he goes to rehab, and leaves the drugs alone.
