Blue Ivy’s trust fund just got some extra cushoning! New promo pics from Beyonce‘s Pepsi campaign hit the web streets earlier today.
In the animated photo, the 31 year-old singer rocks a platinum blonde do. This new promo image follows a series of photos that dropped since last year’s release of her official Pepsi can.

I ‘m a little iffy about her recent tv And commercial print spots lately myself. I normally could care less because I do enjoy listening to her music (that is what matters the most over anything else). Looking at this I’m not shocked by what a
$50 Milli endorsement deal gets you with a brand like Pepsi. What I mean by that is that most American Corp. would prefer the fairer skin regardless of how ‘Light-Skinded’ you are.
But We can’t judge this too quickly (that’s regardless of how I feel about Beyonce), the marketing dept. at Pepsi does have graphic designers who do use Photoshop and Illustrator (it is the industry standard) and well some do like to go to town on the finalized photo. It’s nothing new. Besides we can’t say that she had the final say in this instance.
But if Beyonce is trying to follow in her idol’s footsteps image-wise (The late King of Pop) then I hope she realizes that she is a beautiful black woman like everyone else and that ‘white ain’t alright’.
Beyonce is getting her Gwyneth Paltrow on like a mofo. LOL I think Bey knows what sells and she becomes that. I also think she knows exactly who she is and who she is not. This woman is just smart and trust me I’m not a fan of hers at all. I just know this woman is smart and calculating. I would like to see her push herself outside of her comfort zone and give us something unexpected but I know she is not deviating from a winning formula at this point.
Also, for those who don’t know this AD campaign is based on Famous Andy Warhol paintings and photographs. It’s not that she is trying to be “white” she is showing she is part of POP Culture/ART.
Yeah she’s only wearing blonde hair for this specific example . I hardly ever see her with blonde hair and washed out photoshoots that make her appear way lighter then she actually is. I’m a fan but she’s color struck, its obvious. I remember farrah saying that her Kelly and Michelle were made to go tanning before photoshoots while beyonce didnt.

Stop spreading stupid rumors that don’t even sound like anything that ever happened. Beyonce is not “color struck”. Do you even know what that means? And I don’t believe that Beyonce made anyone get a “tan” so she could be the lightest one. Come on now.
Some of you people just make up the most banal stories. And again I don’t care for Beyonce but at the same time I also don’t throw out the stupid conspiracies theories. There are valid reasons not to like Beyonce “color struck” and “wanting to be white” are not among them.

Beyonce nor Jay-Z would ever appear on her show. That should tell you all you need to know about what motivates her.
I’m one of those types of people who don’t really get this new more European look on Bey. There has never been a moment where I thought she wasn’t attractive and I also felt she possessed what a lot of celebs envied. From her looks, her voice, and basically being a lovely black woman. There is so much money being spent to look as she use to look before. I just fee these changes were so unnecessary. They want to look like you and you want to look like them and in comparison… You look better. Hands down.
@EVA it`s not that serious. It`s a campaign. Beyonce is not doing the Michael Jackson self loathing thing. The Ad is based on Andy Warhol images. People read far too much into images. Beyonce is black and beautiful. She has braids one day and experiments with other looks. Bey knows what sells. Pepsi is a global brand and people will collect these items just like they collect Warhol.
She’s color struck, face it. Could be a southern thing, I don’t know but its obvious, the chemical peels, the increasingly blonde hair, not even for this particular endeavour . Everything she’s done since the 4 album has been light blasted between an inch of its life , from the promo stuff to her stage stuff, just because your a *ahem* fan, doesn’t mean you can’t be subjective. I still can’t get over that Grammy pic of her and gweneth paltrow, and they were the same color.

He would never paint her because EVERYTHING she does is contrived and NOT original. She married that ugly man to form a “merger” and she wants us to believe everything is real and genuine. It is not.

Um no she wasn’t. She was preggo and mad like 10 videos. Then while new videos she had done during that time came out she had her baby. Then she came out with more corny sounding music. She need to really BREAK! Because she is wearing out her welcome heavy imo.

Besides the social analytical undertones to it, can we just talk about how stale these pics are, it really does come across as contrived, there’s no life in it, nothing interesting about it that hasn’t been done post editing. She almost doesn’t seem like she knows what to do in the camera. Aren’t those two poses at both ends the same ? You mean to tell me those were the best takes out if the whole shoot. I’mma need her to do a little more for 50 million then the generic betty boop, dead in the face I’m cute pose.
People are so funny. Like someone said, this campaign is taken directly from Warhol. It`s not stolen because they had to pay Warhol to copy it. It`s not original but few things this chick does are. I`m not offended and I don`t think she is trying to be white whatever that means, Beyonce knows she is black. Beyonce made what 50 million for this?What Black woman can claim that? She knows what she is going for. with this campaign it`s artistic in it`s direction.
I’ve never been the biggest fan of Beyonce, but I wanted to give her a fair chance so I watched her HBO documentary. After viewing it, my waivering opinion of her is now crystal clear….and I am NOT a fan….AT ALL.
She’s extremely superficial and narcisstic. She also seemed pretty ignorant…more so than I expected.
Maybe if your 12 I can understand liking her voice and the “beat”….but once you hit 30, I’d like to think people judge other people (celebrity or not) based on more than just a talent.
Who styled the hair for this shoot? All I’m asking is why on earth are they letting it look like some cheap wig out of a bag was plopped on her head by a toddler? She has worn a million hair styles/colors/wigs and normally they look great because there are properly put on. They way they did this one looks cheap, cheesy, and EXTREMELY distracting.
White girl pose, white girl hair, super bright/contrast image….smells like a sellout supposedly on the DL to me.
