Ciara chatted with Chicago’s The Morning Riot Show on 107.5 FM earlier this week. In between jokes about Future laying right beside her and KFC giving out vouchers for her Fantasy Ride album, the 27 year-old singer answered the more serious questions about her latest single, “Body Party,” and her upcoming guest appearance on BET’s The Game.
During the funny interview, the singer/dancer shared 
her thoughts about the blatant shade that was thrown by Melissa Ford and Rihanna right after her new single dropped:
Well you know, I am not going at it with anybody. I always thought that everything was cool. Because I actually remember seeing Rihanna two years ago at the MET Gala [Ball] after we had the little small back and forth. And from what I recall, everything was cool. So in my mind, I operated from a place of love and pure support. If you would’ve to ask me about her up until this point, I would have said nothing but good things to say because I’m sincerely happy for her. But I didn’t receive what they did from a positive place.
At the end, comedian Leon Rodgers asked her yet again about how KFC used to give out coupons for her third studio album back in the day. LoL That man is a mess!

that’s crazy man. listening to this got me thinking of how this industry works… it’s literally a one man/woman army… you can hear how excited and enthusiastic ciara sounded at the beginning of the call and how quickly her tone of voice turned to sad when that radio host brought up the whole KFC Ciara album combo… he did it TWICE… which is so uncalled for. That’s rude like you know damn well what you were doing by bringing that up… why can’t you just have a normal conversation with the damn artist instead of throwing rumours in their face as if they don’t already know that there are ridiculous rumours out there about them? shit makes no sense to me… so unnecessary. As a human being.. it’s not cool making someone else feel bad. plus I like Ciara she’s genuine and warm-hearted.
I WANT TO SEE A HBO SPECIAL WITH FEFE KICKING RIHANNA’S BUTT…..I BELIEVE THAT SHE COULD DO IT HANDS DOWN.
Although I favour Rihanna’s Image more, Ciara is a better entertainer and her vocals are pretty much just as good as Rih’s.

Rihanna is the better entertainer by FAR. Ci-error needs to worry about her project and keep it moving. Rihanna is coming for Beyonce`s example and legacy she is not working backwards. Entertainment is like any business and people are very jealous. Rihanna has nothing to be jealous of Ci-error about but you can`t say that for Ci Ci. Like Kerry people like to play games then it gets real and they can`t handle it.
For real ppl Rih is a down to earth person to most ppl , she’s. Very related able and laid back . Cici is a joke of a pop star !!! And? Rih is all ready an icon, she’s very very different . She’s. Honest with herself , and lives openly . Rih is not a fake person , or puts out the diva persona !
I beg a differ! An icon? Whitney Houston is an icon, Madonna is an icon, Janet Jackson is an icon… Hell, Beyonce is an icon. Rihanna… Not merely. She’s pop culture royalty but she’ll never hit the status of an ICON! Sure, she has a slew of pop hits but that doesn’t classify her as an icon. Rihanna can’t even sell out a stadium. She has an appealing voice that is reaching its peak. People will be over Rihanna in a few years and she’ll be a distant memory… She’ll be like Cyndi Lauper, a great artist but never did enough to solidify her reign in the pop industry. She’s a fad… Easily replaceable. Now, IMO, that was very rude of a talentless side kick to make such an offensive remark. People value their work and for a vapid nut hanger to say such a thing is rude. I despise b— like Melissa. You don’t throw in anyone’s face their misfortunes. Rihanna better count her blessings and stop living in the moment because the moment aint forever! She too will one day have to face the fact that no one is checking for anymore… PEACE
Please , Please Beyonce is NO ICON , to me an Icon is a super star that’s different . Rih has shown her difference from the rest BLACK FEMALE Super Stars . Bey is a fake copy-cat ! Rih has done Pop , Rock , and Regga , No other Black or White female has done that Rih is hiting them in different sounds and cultures !!!!! Bey is the same look , same sound . She’s boring .

Lets face the facts people if Rihanna was such a fad she would of been gone by now regardless of if you like or not she a force to be reckoned with clearly her bad choices bears no weight on her INTERNATIONAL fan base RIHANNA NAVY 7 YEARS STRONG and many more years to come as far as Ciara who honestly really knows what really happened and honestly i dont really think anybody is even checking for Cici shes definitely talented but her poor choices for her album fillers continuously lets her fans down either way hopefully she does something worth while as for the Dj hes an ass!! 1 im out.
For those who don’t know Ciara is pretty trashy. She does ratchet things to get publicity. She missed around with LeBron, Bow Wow, Fifty Cent, Future, the list goes on. Damn!!!!!! the media always trying to put fake rumors and getting paid by Jay-z to make artist who not real artist playing Rihanna music over over over again even though she is horrible singer because Jay z will bribe the media the media will kiss his behind all I know Damon Dash and AAliyah was going to run the buisness.
