Ms. Tatyana Ali was next up in the hot seat on the Wendy Williams Show this week. The former Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actress dished on her birthday celebration back in January and when Wendy asked about whether she every hooked up with Drake, the 34 year-old blushed over Wendy’s question about her favorite rapper:
He is absolutely brilliant and I am a huge fan of his…Okay this club in L.A. Supperclub is like this amazing club, it’s like a circus. And when people buy bottles of champagne, they like come out of the sky. A woman comes like a gymnast. And so I wasn’t poppin’ bottles like that but he got me a beautiful bottle of champagne and it fell down from the sky and I felt really special.
After Tatyana practically avoided answering Wendy’s hook-up question directly, Williams repeated it and Ali fumbled a bit and stuttered as she said, “I think he’s amazing. I think he’s awesome.” Lol
The next topic of conversation was that of Janet Hubert, the very first Aunt Viv on the 90′s television series, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Ali shared what she remembered from the set during the Janet vs. Will falling out on the set of the show:
Okay, well the story from my point of you. Because remember I was a little girl and so I spent a lot of time in the classroom on set. When I wasn’t on set I was literally going to school.
But from my point of view, it was really like a divorce like when it actually happened. And then Daphne Reed came in, then she was the new Aunt Viv. Then I felt like we had to get to know our new Mom. [...] But there was definitely negativity like you could feel it. But it was amazing to me because we were on a hit show. I don’t see why there would be tension or what the issue would be in a case like that.

How wrong of you Wendy to say it’s ok for a 1 night stand. You should encourage women to respect themselves more. Not a fan of Wendy or the advice she gives
Its also disrespectful to tell women what to with their bodies AND to try and shame them for wanting and getting sex. RIP High Horses.
wendy is messy as hell. so interesting how she would hate for lies and rumors to be spread about her and would tell folks not to believe what they see on tv or read – but she’s apart of the vicious rumor mill when it involves others. she wasn’t on fresh prince show so how would she know if janet was mean? her tatiana is saying the woman taught her to ride a horse and wendy’s injecting her own opinions into the discussion. tatyana handled it fairly well.
