Production is starting soon on “Crazy, Sexy, Cool: The TLC Story,” VH1‘s biopic of the R&B group TLC and it was announced this past week that actor Evan Ross will be playing producer Dallas Austin.
The 24 year-old will take on the role as Austin, who was not only a producer of many of TLC’s top hits but also romantically involved with Chilli (they have a son together).
As previously reported, Lil Mama will play Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, Keke Palmer will be Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas and Drew Sidora rounds out the cast as Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins.
JILL SCOTT HEADING BACK TO TV
In other TV news, singer-actress Jill Scott will be heading back to Television. 
Deadline.com has reported that she will be on the new CBS series, Second Sight.
Based on the British series, Second Sight is a gothic psychological thriller about Tanner (Jason Lee), the lead detective with the New Orleans Police Department who is hiding the fact that he has an ocular disorder that causes him to have horrifying hallucinations. Scott, will play eye doctor Dr. Callier..
BET RENEWS ‘REAL HUSBANDS’
BET has announced that Real Husbands of Hollywood will be renewed for a second season. 
The upcoming season will feature 12 new episodes and will bring back Kevin Hart, Nick Cannon, Boris Kodjoe, Duane Martin, J.B. Smoove and Robin Thicke.

Evan Ross is a good choice. When he first started acting, I didn’t know what to expect, because he came from a famous family, so I thought he was just (talented or not) handed over jobs because of who he is. But he has wowed me with his acting ability. I think he’s a better actor than his older sis, Tracy. LOL!
