Is Keyshia Cole Hating?

In a slew of amusing tweets on Monday afternoon, Keyshia Cole and her Internet commentary has twitter on fire because she is seemingly throwing shade at Beyonce. B’s latest “Bow Down / I Been On” single, currently has the viral world talking up a storm and many people are questioning why Beyonce would release such a track. Keyshia went on a twitter rant and said:

Can’t stand when people all self righteous when it’s convenient it makes them look good. Lmao! But can still talk shit when convenient 2 FOH. First “Women need to Stick together” now bitches better Bow. Smh. But it’s all G! Chicks stay shooting the shit. But when I speak my mind its a prob. Well StayMad

As expected, King Bey’s merciless fans, via the Beyhive, quickly swarmed together and formed a public backlash by responding to the Oakland singer in a number of ruthless tweets. But Keyshia didn’t cease there and replied to a particlar “F*ck yo unity” tweet by further stating:

Can’t we all just get along? But really — maybe Keyshia Cole should have halted altogether before hitting ‘enter’.

Honestly her tweet would be valid if she didn’t throw shade at so many girls all the time. This track was clearly directed towards Beys haters and people that constant doubt her. Diva was the same type of track just not as str8 forward and hardcore, so it’s not new for Bey to make sounds like this. If Keyshia was as worried about her career as she is her tweeter account maybe she wouldn’t be asked to open for new artist and she would be headlining a tour somewhere…just saying!

I disagree. First the song was not directed “towards Beys haters and people that constant doubt her.” It was directed towards the same young girls/ guys that support her. The lyrics are very straight forward and only idiots would try and read into something that she is not singing. Second, I agree that people should have freedom of speech so Beyonce can sing “Bow Down bitches” to girls / women across the world and Keyshia is can write her opinion on Twitter. I don’t see anything wrong with either doing what they want. No law has been broken, just both letting down some people with their recent actions. I do find it a little puzzling why so many of her fans seem to lack common sense and intellect.

you are naive to think she was singing that song to her fans. that just sound crazy. only she knows who she was referring to but her fans ain’t coming for her and why would she tell the fans to bow down bitches. so its not the fans thats lacking intellect. you clearly mentioned.

Alright let’s not blow this about of proportion Beyonce groupies. In fact I only listened to the song once before turning the rubbish off. Unlike you I don’t have that trash on reply so the subliminal reference you are bringing to my opinion about the song being sung towards haters may in fact be true. My opinion was based on first listen and the fact that she does not explicitly say “haters” or “to my haters” anywhere in the song. In fact the lyrics just say she is addressing “bitches” an “girls.” Not that I cannot imagine or conclude that she could not “possibly” be referencing her fans, I was just going off of what I heard. Many songs have been sung about haters from Jill Scott’s “Hate on Me” to Kandi’s “Fly Above” and the message was clear and articulated well. However, this song by Beyonce is pure rubbish. I guess my intelligence is too high to really sit down and analyze ghetto 2nd grade lyrics. I have the right to my opinion and you have the right to your’s. End of story.

Bey knows who she wrote this song for. Please stop trying to analyze her reasoning behind this..she’s done this before and with or without anyone’s blessing she will do it again if she wants to. People need to stop catching feelings over things that have never and will never make a direct impact on how they live their day to day life. For people to be up in arms about a song that is not directed towards you PERSONALLY (cuz let’s face it…she doesn’t know even know you exist..to be honest) is scary to say the least. Enjoy it for what it is and stop trying to decipher… Hit dogs will always bark. Hand over your wig politely and keep it moving. And to whoever say Bey “clearly” wrote this to her her fans…Telling her FANS to bow down bitches…? *blank stare* yeah…

      jasmine,
you sound very ignorant to think that BEY would direct such a song to her fans and supporters. she was talking about people like COLE who will by any means find the bad in her and try to bring it out! she was being real and honest

she doesn’t need any hype and hasn’t spoken a work about it or about COLE because shes living good and been on and Cole is on her twitter trying to find WORK! Bey has a sold out WORLDWIDE tour and you mad! she could care less about your little opinion

    • Jasmine and Go Jazzy, I concur with you both. The song’s meaning is obvious, and words straightforward. It is apparent that Beyonce’s followers are just that and cannot think for themselves, or at least clearly. She on the other hand has an agenda, which is being fulfilled. In my opinion, no woman accepts being called “*&^ches” without feeling disrespected and of little worth. Okay, “Beyhive” people continue to be the “drones” that she is shaping you into and fight for your queen (LOL). Carry on!

Jasmine is right in fact i go with her. She clearly didn’t state that she was talking about her haters. Now, I know some of you are thinking why would she tell her fans to bow down? That is a very good question and i have the answer. She’s telling her fans to bow down because the “Bey Hive” would do anything for their Queen Bey.With that being said she means my bey hive if i am your queen,or king who knows what other secret she has, do what i say and i say bow down

It’s funny how if a rapper would have said the same thing (and they have) we have no problems with it…but when Beyonce says it…its a problem. She is just saying she’s the best right now, just like when Jay and Lil Wayne say their the best…so bow down and remember that. This was not directed at fans…when she says when you were a little girl you wanted to be in my world. She wants all these NEW/recent female artist to remember I was here before you and remember you wanted to be in the world I was already in. So show respect…point blank…please people stop trying to make it a song towards the fans…its crazy how Beyonce haters try to add fuel to the Beyonce hate fire

I seriously wasn’t thinkin of Keyshia or anybody with a K in their name until I saw all the blogs talkin about what she tweeted the next day, like wth KC? You trippin. She startin to act like Lil Kim, all on the defensive for no real reason. She needs to worry about her next album or concert.

Beyonce is not being artistic spreading this type of trashy message. I highly doubt she “wrote” this song. This sounds more like DREAM or Jay-Z or some other MALE. And Cole has every right to say it’s LAME because it is. This single will FLOP just like when she made that other record about ruling the world. Arrogance does not become Beyonce and people won’t pay to hear how much better she is than others are (in her small brain). Re-invention is something she is going to have to seriously re-think.

STOP HATING ON BEYONCE JUST BECAUSE SHE HAS TALENT YOUR FAV WILL NEVER HAVE! Beyoncé can create HOOD songs as fun and still be classy and professional, where Rihanna, or should I say Riwhorna, RiHOna, and Riherpes is always GHETTO AND TRASHY! WTF is with y’all? How the hell can y’all love Riwhorna’s nasty, pot head, sounds like a goat when she sings, “I took my abuser back” self, but hate Beyoncé so much? BTW, this isn’t even the first single. Her live concert sales will never top Bey’s. I do her credit…I love a Rihanna song it gets you hype in the club and ready for the bed with your man. But she will never have an opus like Beyonce’s “4″. But I can say she surprised me with her Grammy performance of Stay. It showed she can do more vocally/emotionally than she shows on her average track, and she should try to do that more (taking a lesson from Beyonce I see)…Let’s not make this a Rihanna Navy/Beehive thing…both are great artist…but Beyonce will always be the superior vocalist.

Keyshia is 100% correct. I just don’t understand why Beyonce’s CRAZY STANS don’t want people to have opinions. Keyshia is 100% correct. Beyonce is bashing women and you can bet she is not BASHING Katy Perry but other BLACK women. This song was probably written by her misogynistic husband or one of the many MALES who write song for Beyonce that clearly HATE women. This song is written and that image photoshopped to promote an image of Beyonce that is more BRASH to sell records and she will FLOP HARD because people are not interested in these type of records from her. Stop attacking people who don’t buy into Beyonce’s false image of perfection. Beyonce is not JESUS and she’s not perfect and no person needs to BOW down to this BIRD. Is Rihanna not 25????? That’s 5 years away from 30 and she’s too old to be getting into Twitter fights and posting pics of her being naked and smoking weed. She’s also very inarticulate (Rolling Stones interview). How about your fav grow the hell up? Wow, you must be so young or just plain juvenile if you think 30 is old. Rihanna doesn’t have a “truth” she is a attention whore who puts all her business on IG and Twitter and her screwed up fans are just happy cause they aren’t alone. She is crass, nasty, and has no class. She can BARELY SING and live she is a freaking mess! The only time she sounded halfway decent is at the Grammys. She might have a lot of hits really fast but until SHE CHANGED THE GAME UP with black hair, new promotion team, new label none of you all STANS were checking for “pon de river”. So you can miss me with all that. BEYONCE paved the way for her and all these other artists coming up today. I don’t even like the song that much but don’t come for her like she doesn’t put in work and is worth millions. So what if she wants to feel herself and represent HTOWN??? If 2chainz said the same thing this wouldn’t even be a discussion. IT’s a freaking song! it’s not that deep damn.

First and foremost, until Keyshia Cole actually sells out a venue, receives a sponsorship deal like Pepsi *coughs*, has a successful relationship, possess an album that actually proves she is an adequate artist besides her first one, perform at the superbowl, sing the national anthem at the superbowl, perform at two consecutive President’s inaugurations, oh and have the whole world watching her show at the same time then she can make a comment towards Honey B! For now, let her continue to sponsor steve madden home of chinese slippers (lol), and watch B reign! When B released the song everyone (Beyhive mainly) wasn’t checkin for the lyrics, they were simply acknowledging the fact B hit the music world again after a hiatus. Something so vulgar, unexpected, and expressive has definitely received your attention. That is all she wanted, to sound the trumpets of her arrival. For real for real those are two samples in one, if you listened closely you can surely hear the cut off and where the talking begin. I mean seriously, let’s not get our panties in a bunch! You say Bitch everyday so beyonce does it for once your whole life is interrupted lol I can’t! Flaws and All she said Bitch y’all made that number one and said you loved it…Hypocrites man!!! Wouldn’t it be funny if they were in on it together to boost sales of Bey cds & Keyshia’s cds like the “beef” between Kanye & 50?!?! It happens more than you think, BUT I listened because even though she does sound like she’s got a 5th grade education, I expected better from someone at this point in her career. She’s not a newbie. Now that I’ve heard it (listened), but NOT buying that or probably anything else from someone who is so full of herself and has no respect for her fans. Say what you gotta say to who it’s directed at. She acts like early Whitney (appeared to have so much class but married Bobby), but is as ghetto as Jay.

As a VERY grown woman Beyonce’s song is highly offensive not only to other artists, but to all women. She is not as she appears to be. She’s allowed her success to go to her head & talking like she’s the only person who ever got married & had a baby (I’ve been married more than half HER life & have 3 children (one already grown, ok) so I’m not in the “teenagery” category or the 20 or 30′s.
For such an accomplished woman to speak so much on “girl power”, how can she turn & dog other women?!?! For those who support THIS song, she’s dissing you too…yes you & you’re swallowing that pill while ready to follow her anywhere she leads you as if she’s Jesus & giving her your money too…PURE FOOLISHNESS!
For the record, NO I never wanted to be Beyonce or anybody but myself. She thinks everyone envies her & wants to be here while she laughs at the pitiful that do. She’s all for girl power as long as you bow down & worship her. If you don’t agree with her, you get hit with the backlash of her kingdom of how dare you not bow to the Queen.
There’s no humility, no humbleness, no thankfulness for true fans or young girls who buy her music and look up to her (why I don’t know), but she’s gone off the deep end.
I don’t get into all that Keyshia Cole stuff, but I do agree Bey has gone too far this time. Somebody needs to dethrone or overthrow the “Queen” so she can get her head on straight!
If she got a personal beef, take it there and stop offending everybody else. All these girls who want to be her, she just told you, you can’t so all you can do to be in her presence is to bow at her feet. If anybody else said that to you, you’d slap her.,,but it’s Bey so it’s ok?!?! NO!

By the way, I’m sure she does believe in her own hype but PLEASE also catch the intent which is to get everybody talking (PR) so they can buy her cd. For fans who were on the fence because this cd it appears not as good as some of her past music, they’ll all run out and buy it just to support her as if they’re hurting Keyshia Cole….downright silly!
You’re being played.Nothing like some controversy to get those cd sales going.

Dianne, you are the one person on this blog who makes any real sense. I think you hit it directly on point. Sad that Beyoncé has to sink to that level. Luv the girl, her music and all, but this record is a diss to all females including those little girls that look up to her. And if JayZ’s peeps are behind this which it sounds like they might well be, it was not a good move on their part. My guess is, they create the controversy, Rih and Beyoncé tweet some half azz diss about each other and Beyoncé becomes the talk of the town right about when her tour is about to start and she’s close to releasing her new music. A lot of artist use these tactics now to put themselves back on public radar. Guess it had to be done as the talk and media, fan focus for the last year has mainly been about Rihanna. Think its a lot of hype, but still a bad choice of song. Hope it doesn’t backfire on her. Either way, anyone buying this song would have to believe themselves to be one of those Bitches she is speaking about and believe in bowing down to the Queen B. Personally, the only person I’m bowing down to is my father and savior above!

What makes this whole thing sad for me is I love bey and never wanted to agree with Keyshia but I do (although her behind always bashing). I am in a woman organization at college and I always used women like Oprah or Beyonce as a woman of standard. We also do organizations where we empower young girls. I wish that Black women could stick together so hearing this is disturbing because one minute Bey does talk empowerment then the next minute this. Come on Bey. That would be just like me telling my lil sister to hang with people with morals but yet I do not have any. I feel Bey was contradicting in her approach. Im not here for it.

how the fukc you gone sing in front of the President and hundreds of world leaders and probably the Queen in England and African Presidents was watching and all the House and Senate and then sing this trash with profanity and garbage and you brought a new baby in this world who will have to listen to this trash. This would have been cool 10 years ago when Beyawnce fist came out, but by now she should be on the level of Whitney Houston. Maybe Beyawnce need to let Clive Davis manage her like he has with Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys and John Legend. Beyawance should be on a world wide stage by now that represents class. This hoodrat music is for a new artist trying a draw a following from the bottom up with half talent. Beyawance should be making epic music by now that can be cataloged and played in the future. Therefore her music has to be relatable to life’s struggles that everyone can relate too, not just herself and some bicthes she thing hating on her.

As for Keyless Cole goes, she is right, but she is going off too much and on the wrong people, but she is right about beyawnce. Keyless cole is still a hood ra,t singer, singing in sweaty clubs, wearing piss colored ratchet blond weave, with ghetto tattoos everywhere., but she right, Keyless Cole exposed too much of her life and her ratchet family and lost some of her fan base when they found out the is really “just like them” as her title slogan of the show said. Now she is not marketable anymore, people with class don’t wanna hear here.

Again, I’m glad I see more comments that are explaining exactly why they don’t like the song and what they expected because as a fan of hers its frustrating when other people get away with mess like this, but she doesn’t and all I see is people saying she’s trash, old, and untalented. You are absolutely correct. I don’t care for this track, but I find the “I Been On” track to be just for comedy. I think this one is not to be taken seriously either so I’m not really worried about it, but I am hoping the material she recorded for her latest album is amazing and filled with eclectic songs.
And you summed up Keyshia’s career and personality perfectly.

Thank you! Where’s her “I will always love you”, or “My Heart Will Go On” (Celine)????She should command that level of respect by now, but she’s too busy trying to be “cool” and “hip”….this makes her look so corny. She’s SO talented….extremely, but her music is sub-par….not stuff you’d say youre proud to listen. I think people fear her, cause shes a marketing force to be reckoned with, but, I dont think they respect her musicianship.

I used to like Keyshia and her music, before she dissed Michelle Williams of DC3 so crudely out of nowhere. Keyshia can express show she feels, but this is a business and her fellow “coworkers”. Why bring tension between the two of you; they are going to run into each other again at some type of business function. Her career is dead. She’s been flopping so hard and has her own problems to worry about (family problems she airs on TV and radio).
What is funny to me and interesting is the reasoning behind the disappointment in Beyoncé or just the downright hate for her. I don’t disagree that people who dislike Beyoncé’s music and image shouldn’t feel that way, but I HATE THE FACT THAT STANS OF THE RIHANNA NAVY bash her so much when she clearly has much more talent, class, and power than a trashy, mindless, ghetto skank who took her abuser back. I truly believe they are mad that Beyoncé can sing and dance, but Rihanna can’t, but they love Rihanna’s music and the drama that surrounds her so they want to put her up against her competition, another successful, internationally known, black R&B/Pop singer.
Now reading comments from some rational people on here, I see that people just expected more from Bey and she attracted a certain type of crowd. Beyoncé always had a sexy image, but most of the time it was just sexy and beautiful, but tasteful. Plus, she has powerhouse vocals. In interviews she always seemed warm, humble, reserved, and professional. Because of that, people respected her maturity level and her talent, even if she was a bit risqué at times. Where else with someone like Rihanna, people don’t expect that, plus her fans are extremely young or just young minded. Therefore, if she wants to call herself a b-tch and make fun of domestic violence, her fans are the same way and/or think it’s funny and still support her.

U are so fake! Cole is keeping it real! People can have an opinion and nobody is scared of King Bey! Bey is a MOTHER! Bey will be like like Mariah being 40 plus still rocking butterflies and unicorn sheets! bey should mature and grow and stop trying to be like she is still 19. I am younger than Rihanna but Rihanna is real she does not fake like Bey does.

You are so sad. Had you pay attention to Keyshia Cole show since you brought up the negativity she displayed. Please mention the positive. She display that through her success she still loved and care for her crack head mom. Did you not see them get counseling? Keyshia Cole has alot of LOVE to give. Ive always said that. Did you not see how Keyshia helped her mom and sister get a show on BET? Thats food shelter and clothing for their childrens.

As for her marital problems i think she displays good character by seeking professional help on air. It helped alot of other familys that were trying to fix their own problems seek professional help.

Some of these people calling themselves fans arent!!! a real fan can admit the truth. Beyonce should have never recorded this song or let it be heard not only because she is a mother but because she has a baby.

to show you how fake Beyonce surroundiing is lets see what Oprah, Michelle Obama or the pres thinks about this release.. I remember Oprah had some rappers on her show for using the B word. Wonder how she feels or would even comfront Beyonce.

Now I bet if Beyonce had called K.Cole and said I want you to sing on the hook of this song….1 million bucks that she’d do i in a heartbeat.

My point is, if you like the song you like the song. If you don’t you don’t. If you like Bey you like Bey, and if you like Keyshia you like Keyshia. At the end of the day, they both got their checks and we pay for their music and shows…what do you get that takes up your time and effort to respond to someone on twitter or fight with people via comment sections on blogs. NOT A DAMN THING!

Keyshia Cole is such a miserable person. First Michelle NOW Beyonce??!! Seriously. The song isn’t meant to be taken SERIOUS people!!!! Damnnnn….she’s basically talking about the HATERS telling them “I been doing this shit, I been on in this music game, I maybe married what but Im still HERE so BOW DOWN BITCHES”!!! It’s just a tease to get people HYPE and guess what, she did it. Maybe Keyshia and Keri Hilson need to go have a little pity party together and talk about their nonexistent careers and sold out tours that will never happen. I’m a Beyonce fan but NOT a Stan or whatever you want to call it. She’s wack for that one.

I really don’t think Keyshia is a “Miserable Person” She’s calling it as she sees it:) When Keyshia speaks or say what’s on her mind she get’s “ATTACK” Keyshia says Staymad! I don’t blame Keyshia! Bey really don’t have to explain anything to “HATERS” Just keep your head up and stay positive we all know Bey been in the business for long time:) Very talent! I love her voice & moves; Why make such a foolish song to get attention:( Home girl is a mother now and this is not the time nor place or teasing for this mess! The song is “AWEFUL” What if Michelle Obama heard this song & give her opinion would you guys be mad @ her? “NOT” 90% will agree with Michelle; But when Keyshia speaks you’ll want to step on her & pull the skin off of her cause she voice her opinion. Keyshia & Keri are doing just find:) The two make good music too and they will continue to be around:) I’m just saying:)

I agree though a bey fan. I think when a woman has a baby she should adopt a more sophisticated image. I just hate when I see my sisters and friends looking a way thats more suited for a single woman. Im not saying act old but a mom she be content to were alot of childlike ways are done away with. I also hate how women use the word bitch so lightly. Lets stop trying to make men respect us when all we do is show hate toward one another and men know it. Hopefully the rest of the music have a grown up message.

You just ruined your career by the BowDown garbage. Question: Jay Z said he would Never call a women a BITCH again…remeber Glory? Now Beyonce is appearing fake to me now. First, Independent Women, Run the World..Girls,etc. Now we Bitches gotta Bow Down?

Keyshia Cole is MISERABLE. Her career, I’ve never been fond of. For her to say “first women need to stick together” she is the main person always trying to throw shade at someone. So yeah, you’re one of the bitches that need to bow down. Yet again, she’s attacking someone who’s career is above & beyond hers.

Everybody is comparing all songs that Beyonce came out with before as if artist keep the same storyline in songs. NAH. How fucking boring would that be?? It’s called diversity, people. Nobody wants to be the cry baby ass singer “i love you, you cheated, burn ya shit, lets get married” blah blah blah. As much as I love Aaliyah, even she went from “Never no more” & “We need a resolution” to “I can be” which is about her being a side chick. It’s MUSIC and ENTERTAINMENT.

    HELP

PEOPLE THIS IS WHAT BEYONCE HAS TO DO WITH JAYZ..
THEIR RELATIONSHIP SEEMS INTERESTING AND LOVE LESS , LIKE HER FATHER AND MOTHERS RELATIONSHIP,IT’S LIKE A PIMP AND HIS WHORE OUT TO RED CARPET EVENTS . THAT SONG TELLS A STORY OF THE FAMILY TREE ! ! ! BEYONCE WORSHIPS JAYZ AND BOW DOWN TO KISS HIS FEET . JAYZ IS A DRUG DEALING PIMP FROM NEW YORK , AND BEYONCE IS A SHELTERED LITTLE GIRL FROM TEXAS …THAT SAW HER POOR MOTHER WORSHIPING HER PIMP FATHER , THAT SONG IS NOT ABOUT CONFIDENCE ,IT’S A CRY FOR HELP . JAYZ IS NOT IN LOVE WITH BEYONCE AND SHE’S NOT ABLE TO EXPRESS HER BUILT UP PAINE ,SO SHE CREATED THAT SONG , I DO BELIEVE JAYZ IS BORED WITH HER ALSO ,AND PROBLEMATIC THINGS COME UP EVERYDAY IN HER LOVELESS MARRIAGE . I WISH HER THE BEST AND HOPE SHE GETS HELP BEFORE HER KID BECOMES A YOUNG LADY AND THINKS SHE NEEDS TO BOW DOWN TO A PERSON .

All i have tro say about this song is Beyonce has a daughter now. Why even record such crap. Honestly!!! Prayer changes though. And this should be important to parents. Do you really want Beyonce influencing your kids.

The one thing i respect so much about Whitney Houston (God Bless the dead) is she made music. Bobby Christina gets to know her mom now through her music. She never took off her clother are disrespected woman in any over her songs. BRING that back,.

Keyshia Cole is entiltled to her opinion just like everyone eles, HOWEVER for her to be in the industry and knowing how judgemental the industry is she just shouldn’t have put that on twitter. It was unprofessional and down right Racthett. You don’ t have to like the song but keep it amongst your circle. Talk about it with your girls at table talk or over a drink….Twitter was a little uncalled for……I don’t too much like the song myself but I still love my Bey……..But wheather the song is bad or not Keyshia you are talking about somone with 17 grammys compared to your how many???? C’mon sweetie…..It’s the principal about the situation…..Same with Michelle (when you threw shade) they have grammys honey and are waaay out of your league and on top of that you ain’t had a hit since…………mmmmmmmmm can’t remember….So honey take several seats and learn some profession……If you were concerned about your career like you were about your twitter account you might (just might) get somewhere…….They don’ t need a reality show to get a check! Get cho life blonde’……bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

      wow!!!
lets not forget that she was nominated for 4 grammys. lets not forget that she was opening up for MC hammer. She has been in the industry for a minute. Money and fame doesnt bring happiness. Understand Keyshia Cole has released more albums as a single female artist than Beyonce. So has Rihanna. It is not okay for Beyonce to be recording such material with her success. It doesnt matter if some1 is hting and says that. Its still the truth. Keyshia Cole is very established though so i dont think she is hating and is far more from hurting.

Beyonce wrote a letter to Michelle Obama, she has a daughter, and she is friends with Oprah. Oh i forgot she sang for the president and did the national anthem. The saddest part is because of her fame, this release will be dismissed.

It’s funny how Britney Spears still running around on remixes screaming “It’s Britney Bitch”, with two young boys hanging from her titty and it’s all good right. Black Folk always feel the need to rag on one another. There are plenty of fradulent white female artists out there, yet Ms. “Tell It Like It Is Cole” is being real tight lipped about them.

The difference is Bitter Spears is already trailer trash and lives up to being trailer trash and goes out in binges in public, doing coke and getting high and cutting off her hair, marrying several men while being drunk and high. The standards people already have for Bitter Spears is already low. So you CANNOT compare Bitter Spears to Beyawnce. Beyawnce has sung in front of many world leaders and is on a higher level and is God Given talented singer. Not some adrenaline induced lip sync-er who gets propped up to make others money.

I’m so tired of black people comparing their actions to white people just to make deplorable behavior ok. There is a standard of morality for every race and we should automatically have a standard of decency for our selves. just because one race indulges in bestiality does not make it ok for the next race to be classified as barbaric people.

I’m tired of Black people thinking that everybody black who does something has to represent the whole damn race. Ya’ll ain’t saying that when Rihanna dumb ass is posting rachet ass pictures and saying disrespectful stuff to her fan/haters all over the internet. The only moral code I have is for myself. I am not responsible for portraying the Black race. The same poeple talkn all that mess prolly in the damn car right now saying “I love bad bitches that’s my f*&*g problem!” And Keyshia can’t talk about no damn unity and she the first one HATING.

Sean, there is a difference between not liking an artist and flat out jealousy and envy.
Some people take their “dislike” for Beyonce to another level. This women get’s attacked for everything she does and it’s starting to get really lame, so of course her fan’s will defend her. Whenever I see a posts pertaining to an artist I am not particularly fond of I keep it moving, however certain people feel that it’s their god given duty to inform the world of how Beyonce can improve, yet they are in desperate need of a gym membership, wash and set and clothes that have not been purchased at Walmart. That girl is human like everyone else and has the right to express herself anyway she see’s fit. Trust me when I say Beyonce is not the root of all that is wrong with the world.

    • I do think because she’s a celeb she naturally does get a lot of extra hate, more than any of us would of course, but at the same time, it does come with the territory of being an entertainer. Some of it can be quite harsh. But anyone who is a celebrity is of course going to be subjected to more love and also more hate, than anyone who isn’t as famous. Why should her “haters” matter to fans? For every “hater” there is another fan somewhere. If those ppl want to throw shade at her, let them, it’s not any of her fans responsibility to defend Beyonce and it really isn’t going to stop them tbh.

I don’t see what all the hype is about. It’s a song. Why is everybody taking it personal? Especially KC. She just jumped right out there letting everyone know where her insecurities lie. Get on that level…then feel free to jump up from your several seats and comment. It makes her look a little jealous. Whomever said what to whom first is so high school. KC should’ve been the bigger person because, just like Beyonce, she’s a wife and mother too. First the Super Bowl thing now this. Beyonce is too establish to go this route, I agree with that. It does come off childish. But hey, she earned her place. Freedom of speech…especially when nobody out here can top her grammy wins, album and concert sales.

  38. I may be a tad late here but I just heard the song and I think the I Been On actually wasn’t that bad. Bow Down is not really my cup of tea but I don’t think it’s as terrible as ppl were saying. Lol. It’s just not a different route (except for the occasional tracks she does like Diva, Run The World etc) I think the use of the word bitches is what got a lot of ppl disliking the track. I can see why it’s so controversial but at the same time I think some ppl may be taking it a bit too seriously. Not an avid listener of Beyonce here but just thought i’d give my opinion on all of this.

I think that some ppl just love to hate’ Beyonce. They are constantly looking for any little thing to get on her about. I think she made this song just to show another creative side of her. Maybe she got bored with making all of these nice, sweet, songs & wanted to switch it up a bit. She has more than one side to her people & she does want to remain relevant…it’s just a song! Sheeesh…

But she’s very talented and well traveled. Sorry, I veered off topic a bit. Point is, there’s really no reason to hate or feel some type of way about the song. Thank you Vee! and I honestly don’t understand why people keep comparing Beyonce to Rhianna. I am sure Katy Perry has sold way more albums than Janelle Monae, but does that make her a better performer or overall artist? I think not. I am a fan of Rhianna and Beyonce, however you don’t need to be a rocket scientist to realize Beyonce is hands down a better performer. Madonna can kiss women on stage and do splits while rocking a Julie Newmar catsuit, yet she will never ever get the hate Beyonce gets. I just don’t understand why people invest so much energy in to someone they supposedly don’t like.

Jasmine I agree with you, I wasn’t even a minute in the song before I cut the mess off Beyoncé is getting too cocky WHAT she must don’t know GOD GIVE IT AND HE TAKES IT AWAY. One day you can be here you can have it all the next day everything will be gone just that fast. I’m tired of the ghetto songs she writes and sings about she sings stupid song like Let me Upgrade U to I got a big Ego lol come on get right you isn’t no better than nobody else. To be honest I prefer a Fantasia or Ashanti, or Keyshia Cole for that matter I prefer a song from them before listening to Beyoncé. I don’t know what’s happening to her I guess she feels that she made enough money off her fans and she feels as if she don’t need them anymore so she’s trying to be nasty in her songs to show that she don’t give a damn about nobody or what anyone has to say dumb bitch lol Oh yeah may I add She bleeds once a month just like every other woman so girl stop your cockiness let that shit fly high because guess what you still haven’t pushed 503,000 copies in the first week like Ashanti Aka Shanti and you sure as hell don’t push units like Adele so ummmm I’mma need you take a seat and simmer down because the only reason why you in this position is because you are so call married to Jay-Z Bitch we all know if Jay-Z didn’t start your career back with the Crazy in love days you wouldn’t be who you are because you wasn’t all of that when you was in Destiny Child’s where is Jennifer Hudson when you need her J Hud gon have to get her straight again lol

Ashlee…You just named 5 people who have nothing to do with this conversation. Adele doesn’t even sing R&B or Pop, Ashanti isn’t even relevant anymore and the only reason she sold that many albums the first week was because her lead song used a Biggie sample and she was touted as being the next Aaliyah. Fantashia is a ghetto hot mess And with J-Hud..she’s not even checking for music anymore…she’s cashing those acting checks. You really are pressed and are spending your time focusing on this hatred you have for Beyonce. And Jay-Z didn’t start anything for Beyonce…He showed her to be a Boss. Stay in your lane because saying
” get right you isn’t no better than nobody else” isn’t good grammar so I’m sure you’re a Keyshia Cole fan writing like this.
