The official trailer for After Earth has finally arrived! Father-son duo Will Smith & Jaden Smith will be starring in a new sci-fi, M. Night Shyamalan-directed film, After Earth, which hits planet earth on June 7, 2013.

One thousand years after cataclysmic events forced humanity’s escape from Earth, Nova Prime has become mankind’s new home. Legendary General Cypher Raige (Will Smith) returns from an extended tour of duty to his estranged family, ready to be a father to his 13-year-old son, Kitai (Jaden Smith).
When an asteroid storm damages Cypher and Kitai’s craft, they crash-land on a now unfamiliar and dangerous Earth. As his father lies dying in the cockpit, Kitai must trek across the hostile terrain to recover their rescue beacon. His whole life, Kitai has wanted nothing more than to be a soldier like his father. Today, he gets his chance.
My favorite actor is Back! I am Legend is one of my favorites to watch on rainy day! this is a good look for Will and Jaden.
Jaden needs to stick to acting, he’s much better at it………..
Zzzzzz. I think this is what the Smith family should consider a HOME movie and keep it there. They don’t have to share this with the public. LOL This does not look even remotely interesting. Jaden playing Jaden. And Will playing Will. Who do they imagine will pay to see this? And enough with the computer generation for like the entire movie….

Will Smith and brain are mutually exclusive terms. This movie is just something will is using to keep Jaden viable in Hollywood. Lets not pretend this is some Kubrick movie it`s not. I did not think you would enjoy watching a sodomite in any film for that matter. Go figure. And for that brain comment you are NOT welcome at the Big House lol. Stephen controlled Monsieur Candie not the other way around.
Was that my gurl Sophie Okonedo? I love her!!!! I dont know about the story, looks kinda interesting but unfortunately I dont think i will be supporting in the movies. I may purchase when it gets to Amazon.
I agree 100%. Sophie is a great actress. I loved her in the things I’ve seen her in. Her voice is soothing. But that clip is probably as long as she is in this movie. And there is nothing in this movie that looks good. This is just a vanity project for Jaden. Will is very supportive of his children but this is not an appealing looking movie at all.

Jaden is becoming a very talented actor, I will definitely be going to see this movie. I am a huge fan of Will Smith’s work and people should stop with the negative criticsm without even seeing the movie

I will definitely go see this. I always support Will and his family as he is one of the few black actors who has the opportunity to play roles that are specifically race driven. Father and son have great screen presence and I hope this will be a huge summer block buster in the Smith tradition.

I will be seeing this in the theater. Will works hard at whatever he takes on and I suspect he and Jada are raising their children the same way. If he has the ability to create opportunity for his children and teach them to business people, then good for them. God forbid there be any positive images of black men be in the media, especially with their children. Have a seat naysayers!
