2013 Inductee Quincy Jones and Oprah Winfrey pose for a photo at the 28th Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Thursday (April 18) in Los Angeles, California.
The star-studded event honored Disco queen Donna Summer, producer Quincy Jones, blues guitarist Albert King, singer-songwriter Randy Newman, rock bands Rush and Heart, veteran producer Lou Adler and hip hop pioneers Public Enemy.
Singer-performer Usher performed during the Jones tribute and Oprah inducted her close friend saying, “He defines the word legend, he is remarkable and everybody knows it.”
Singer Kelly Rowland inducted the late Donna Summer and Summer’s husband and daughters were there to accept the trophy on her behalf. Rounding out the appearances were Chuck D and Flavor Flav from Public Enemy, veteran actor Harry Balefonte and Russell Simmons. Check out all the photos in the gallery.
