After roughly three years of lying low musically, the songstress Kelis returns with her new record, “Call on Me.” The soulful, Afrobeat cut is produced by Dave Sitek of TV on the Radio, and is slated to be released through Sitek’s Federal Prism imprint.
According to PitchFork, the Harlem-raised singer is scheduled to release an ambitious project of two full LPs on

UPDATE: A reliable source has informed us that Kelis’ new track is actually titled “Jerk Ribs” and that she is indeed working on a new album through an unnamed label and has yet to be titled.
